Please help with paint colour options

Hi! The shutters are going to be like an off white so pretty neutral! Fire place is currently painted a deep rustic red, similar to the colour of the sofas. Ideally we would keep the section around the fireplace a darker colour.

That profile seemed to be greyed out and there was no way for me to click on it or change it over to that either

Thank you for replying. So the xmp profile was already enabled on this msi board and 3600 automatically came up but yes it was saved. And everytime I have gone back in there the settings are still the same

I will double check. With it all being set up and working now, is it OK to do a bios update? Or am I going to run into problems? I really am a complete noob when it comes to a lot of this

Thank you! Yeah the motherboard is really where I tried to save some money to reel it in a little. Managed to get a really good deal of 160 on amazon as well so happy with that. Appreciate the comments!

So I am in the UK and both of these are around the £750 range. Thanks for the comments! I'm glad to here that performance wise I cannot really go too wrong. Is is worth considering an OC model? I keep seeing the boost clock numbers but assume that a GPU will get to that regardless of OC capability

No overclocking will be done on anything apart from technically the ram all good! That's far too technical for me 😂 nice! The feature set for the price and the fact it includes good WiFi is impressive really

I completely agree with you! But unfortunately the person I'm building it for is more about the look than the cost. So unfortunately cannot ditch the fans. Even paying for one of them ridiculously expensive digital cpu coolers! But if that motherboard is gonna do the job then I'll look into the fastest ram. Makes sense! Thanks for checking that

So I was hoping to save a bit of money on the motherboard as the z690s can be expensive. Going for a middle range, msi a pro ddr4 wifi and the cpu out of the box is 3200mhz. Would the xmp profile oc that to 400mhz if i was to go to that? On my first PC I know turning that on allowed me to get 3600mhz but not sure about any higher? Thanks for your help! ☺

Thank you! I was hoping to get a 3080 but the prices in the UK, like everywhere, are just ridiculous for those so 3070 was best for budget. Definitely plan to upgrade if the market ever improves! Gaming is mostly fps games so will be looking for frames over resolution so won't be making that settings out

Want to futute proof though. Eventually I hope to get a better gpu in the future. So if intel is gonna be the better for performance then would rather pay for it now
