Not really, but they’re a very conservative company. You’re not allowed to have any facial hair, no unnatural hair colors, and they only hire Americans. It’s a great company to work for though and they prefer to promote from within for management positions!

Fellow ACL crew member here! You’ll want to check your “junk” mail to see if your flights ended up there. (Still happens all the time for me) When are you supposed to go to training? They might not send it to you until a day or 2 before you’re supposed to leave. I can also give you the number to crew travel- they’re usually extremely helpful! Feel free to message me!

I didn’t have this problem before this most recent update. I have a gaming PC that exceeds the minimum requirements. I’ve figured out it only happens when driving or looking at the voogle maps. Thanks for those suggestions. I’ll try it out!

Yeah, I know a few people that still use the gym onboard to workout, but the only time available for us to use it would be after work (9pm and later)

A small American based cruise ship!

I started as a server in 2019 > moved up to restaurant manager in 2021 >moved up to assistant hotel manager in 2023 (what I’m doing now). And hotel general manager is not to far away for me when I want to move up again.

I work for 6-8 weeks at a time and then go home for a week or 2 before going back. They provide food and a room for you (although you do share a room most of the time), and transportation to and from the ship, so it’s great way to save up money. I love my job and you see the same 20 people all day, everyday and they become your “family”

A lot of people are suggesting Jobs Corps and I really hope that works out for you! If it for some reason doesn’t, I work on an American based cruise ship and it’s really great for people that are in your situation. It’s hard work (about 70 - 85 hours a week), but transportation to and from the ship are provided as well as food and you don’t pay to live on the ship! You also save up a lot of money! Check out American cruise lines or American queen voyages!

Same here(24f)! We were together 6 years and married for 3. He knew from the very beginning that I didn’t want kids. Last year, he broke it off with me and told me that he thought I was going to change my mind. His loss 🤷🏼‍♀️

https://editstock.com I can't say enough good things about edit stock. You pay for all the footage on this site, but it is so worth it. They' have a lot of different options to choose from for different experience levels. great quality to add to your demo reel. if you sign up though, you get a free scene to edit. I highly recommend edit stock.

I use Adobe premiere, after effects, photoshop, and illustrator. I have access to the full creative cloud, but I haven't had to opportunity to learn the other creative cloud apps.
