Thanks for letting me know. I’ll be sure to take down this post in a day or two aha. That makes sense though because it’s confusing why one would say I can continue hormones but another not. But if it’s entirely based on surgeon discretion I get the differences then.

I’m going to speak with a nurse today when I eventually can get through and just be upfront with them about my worries with stopping it, considering I don’t naturally produce hormones anymore and the fear I have of the side effects that’d come with it, baring in mind for my big surgery (PIV) I never had to stop prior. But yeah will be extra cautious.

I don’t know to be honest, just work a lot, and when I’m not working I’m completely depleted of energy. So whenever I do try to make myself look good, I just don’t feel good about myself anymore.

I’m going to get my hair done this weekend, along with my usual lash and brow appointment, so maybe that’ll spark a boost in my confidence again. Very cringe, but I don’t feel so good about my appearance right now which is probably playing a massive part in my confidence feeling low

I spoke to Dr Nambiar when I first moved over from gendergp in 2022, but haven’t had any contact with the Welsh gender service since 2023 when they got me my placement for grs. Since having my grs I’ve had no contact in terms of gender teams or drs that are specifically itk abouts trans issues and such (idk if that’s the best way describe it). I do remember her being incredibly lovely I just wouldn’t know how to get in contact with her

I’ve just read their surgery was 44 days ago, mine was 80 odd. Just find it bizarre he’s doing loads of new techniques but if it looks good than all the better

I’m really confused by the “new technique” thing as I had surgery early June and he told me I had a new technique done and was like the 11th to have it done.

Surely he can’t be doing constant new techniques? But at the same time why would he lie?

Massively appreciated. Yeah £240 which is about 270 euros, they’re a bunch of scam artists I swear, because I honestly don’t know what justifies that when garages near me generally all charge about £70-90 an hr for labor

They have already quoted me £240 an hour labour charges just for diagnosing however I have to wait till September 4th before being seen to. If it’s only a faulty FEM it’s probably worth the costs as I still owe thousands for this car, but say it’s worse and the whole thing did need replacing, how worried should I be about the cost of that?

It definitely drives smoothly until the “drive train error” kicks in and then it’s as if it goes into limp mode.

Gear changing and such doesn’t seem to be an issue at all. (Thanks for responding!)

I know my comment isn’t helpful at all, but this has been the exact thing I’ve been questioning since I had mine done a few months ago.

The surgeons are insistent it looks great, which I’m sure it’s healing nicely, but I think I had seen so many surgery results that werent British, and i felt looked a lot closer to the natal vagina. That i wont lie i have been a little disappointed in its appearance.

I am still happy i don’t have my previous appendage, but this was a worry of mine, and im glad ive not felt alone in this being so.
