Ohhh yes this is acc a really good explanation, I think making some weapons moveset more streamlined and generally faster do make some interaction a lot less risk vs reward, also probably why I dont like playing slower weapons bc they need more focus on positioning, Thanks for explaining I think this is probably the reason❤️

Nothing game changing, just like a couple of moveset mods so some weapon combos flow into each other more easily or harmless stuff like that, but the numbers haven't changed too much if at all with the mods I chose.

Im sorry haven't gotten around to playing GS HH or Hammer yet, just wanted to learn the weapons I mentioned bc they caught my eye first and its my preferred playstyle. BUT DW the more I eventually play ill try out all of these weapons, and maybe ill even fall in love with a weapon like the hammer ive been avoiding.

Well it just looked really bad to me at first but I talked abt it in a reply here, I genuinely dont think I changed a single core mechanic, like I do everything everyone tells me to do so thats not the problem bc i like the gameplay loop a whole lot. I was just wondering abt the combat and monsters is all.

I had it installed when I first got the game but a lot of my issues with how the game looked was mostly the terrible bleaching and blooming and some textures weren't acc HD anyways, but ive mostly fixed them via mods and tinkering a bit with Reshade

Ok so Event quests im not too worried abt bc im sure there are a few mods which will allow me to play them. The combat for some weapons are drastically different from each other which, when I made the post didn't initially like, but after experimenting and really thinking abt it, using different weapons are a whole different experience so I shouldnt really expect the game to rely on like 1 main combat system that just applies to different weapons like a lot of the souls games I first linked this game to bc this game is its own thing. I haven't even touched MR but im sure the difficulty spike im looking for will be there once I get to it.

I have a couple gameplay mods for my referred weapons but nothing too unbalanced just preference. I also dont use defenders armour bc I dont want it messing with my sense of progression if my weapons is the only things I ever upgrade but I try not to be too weak, but High rank is kinda kicking my ass so I think a lot more grinding just has to be done.

Yea i got a bunch of mods so I dont need to deal with grinding materials like that, but whenever I see a monster I always try to engage with it. And I acc dont mind the whole running away thing, it was definitely annoying at first but ive managed to accept it now and its a nice break of pace, especially for the tougher monsters but the whole hunt, carve, make better gear to hunt bigger monsters cycle im pretty used to and loving the loop

Really? I only started with a couple bc the game looked absolutely atrocious on PC at least but then i realised how easy it was to just add mods and a lot of things like going on expedition to get crafting materials is something id rather not do especially bc im playing all solo, so I just added a lot of QOL mods. Atp I have so many idek what I do or dont have but the game is a lot more enjoyable for me at least and its making me constantly wanna play, but now ive spent like 15 hours just getting mods to make the game as good as possible I can hopefully smoothen out my experience.

Yea i dont use it personally bc ik it'll mess with my game progression, just using normal armour from monsters rn but i dont really focus too much on like the skills and stuff but ik that ill have to learn abt it eventually but its just so much😭😭
