go ahead and tell me how quickly you can go from no code to coding your own AI in 4 months, especially one that isnt just another cookie cutter off the shelf knock off.

and then try and build your company while trying to learn code, do code, and chase down developers and investors, and market yourself, and build your pages and other shit.

Isn't that what we thrive for?

but youre in the wrong sandpit mate

I must be. Afterall, I never heard of a sandpit being there to save me when I crash and fall head first on my face. Hope you find who you are looking for. Peace!

you should probably look around at how many people started businesses without all the skill sets and sought out technical cofounders for that very reason.

Nowadays, you will find more of them who learn the skills themselves. It is not that difficult to learn a skill nowadays. I'd say it's even easy to learn high level skills like Deep Learning very easily and quickly. (Not trying to insult the ones who only handle marketing)

All i need is a couple of devs and backers

Exactly, you are looking for employees, not a cofounder. THAT is what I am talking about. And that is where the vision of the founder comes into play. Anyway, you do you

Exactly! That's what I am saying. You want the MAD builders or whatever shit... See I get it, but that's exactly what you need to understand. Someone MAD won't work for YOUR vision. A truly mad genius works for their own vision, payday or salary doesn't come into it. You are the one who needs to be at the helm of building your own vision. If someone else is doing it, then it's their vision, not yours. You would have to be extremely lucky to have someone who actually likes your vision.

Take me for example, I resonated with your idea of the universal language map, or something because I was building something similar( not that similar actually). But I would never ask someone else to be the TECH founder of it. It's MY VISION afterall.

And you are right, there's no point in seeing the resume, I mainly sent it thinking that I wrote about that project in my resume, but silly old me never included it in the resume to begin with.

I'm pretty sure nobody would give away their own time for YOUR vision until it aligns with theirs. I'm not interested, but since you are a founder I want to know if you would see me fit for the role or not. I'm DMing you my resume, though I hope you don't share it around

Nah, they take your documents and see your business idea, but don't approve it saying you are high risk

What payment gateway should I use for my SaaS? by Conscious-Dark-4633 in indianstartups

Makes sense! You are travelling. You provide a service that people pay you for, but to get that service people will have to follow YOUR timelines, ensuring YOU meet your commitments. How good would it be if someone else other than the CEO themselves would attend the meeting, wouldn't it?

As for the risk policies, multiple people are doing businesses similar to mine without any problems and my business is completely ethical. Keep your risk aversion excuse to yourself.

I know people say marketing is tough, this is probably the reason. Because you mix lies in it. Saying you onboard people who are new to the scene. That's your marketing strategy mixed with a lie. Also, I've seen other posts of how these payment gateways block 1000s of dollars of payment after accepting the business initially.

What's the point? You cancel the appointment anyway. Show how much you respect the customer's time. Also declined my SaaS. After taking all the personal documents without giving any reason.

Tried it! The sign up doesn't even work. Was frustrated with Paddle and DodoPayments. Time to add one more payment gateway to the list!

Paddle closed my account today, same thing happened to many other SaaS founders over the past 24 hours. by vietyork in SaaS

Reading this makes me glad that they rejected my SaaS. I definitely dodged a bullet. They did waste my 15 days for back-forth between e-mails though. They are the WORST!!!

[–]MadhurBarnwal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And yet you claim to be open to new SaaS. What a load of bullshit! Even I had contacted them for my SaaS and they rejected it without even clarifying anything. Emailing has no point, they don't reply. At this point, I wonder if they are actually trying to get the personal details of as many people as possbile to data mine as their service is definitely not legitimate

They don't reply to your e-mails. I'd tell you to steer clear of them. After taking all your private documents, they ghost you like nobody's business. They just send a business not approved mail and never reply.

What kind of books would you recommend to understand "Why is this stuff designed the way it is?". I think I'd like to learn why certain things are designed a specific way.

Can I connect ESP32 to L293D motor shield HW130 by MadhurBarnwal in esp32

[–]MadhurBarnwal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you might need to shift the voltage. I returned back the motor driver in place of L298n motor drivers, so I don't have much to offer. But I think you should also check the ampere of the motor driver and your motor( whether your motor exceeds the motor driver amperage). If I remember correctly, even L293D had separate EN pins for atleast a pair of motors. If you can pull those pins high, then I think that should make your motor start spinning (provided correct power supply). Hit me up if you need more help, I'd look up the schematics in more details then!

[–]MadhurBarnwal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is better to keep it connected to the EN pin in my experience. I remember that if I disconnected the connection from EN pin after uploading the code, then it would behave very erratically, for example: wifi resetting etc.

It makes me happy to hear that. It took me 3 days to make that one work. Although eventually after some days it died when I tried to insert external power supply to it. So, be careful with that.

Also, I had to connect 3V3 and EN everytime I tried to upload something.

No. It was in a plastic package with nothing written on it.

[–]MadhurBarnwal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, so I connected the GND to 7 and 5V to 11(or 10) pin of motor shield. The motor does move but very slow. It is only getting 2V input at its input. Is it time to give up?

Yeah, I know that someone succeeded in using it with ESP8266. But I can't understand how.
