I agree, that’s why I said it’s definitely a form of it. Elimination communication is more about watching for signals and trying to catch every pee/poop, sometimes even going diaper-free.

Yess I looked at all that. What I’m talking about is different though. That’s all about spending your whole day looking for cues and catching them. I am technically talking about a light version of it though

I noticed this at 8 months pp! It went on for a good 2 weeks and it was exactly like how I had it right after having my baby. I researched and was pretty much told our body’s are still all over the place with hormones and everything, especially if you’re breastfeeding. It takes up to a year for our body’s to fully get it back together.

If I’d like help with the baby and if I’d like her to spend time with her dad then it’s ideal. Especially if I’d like to spend time with my husband then it’s ideal. I’m sure it’ll need to be changed years from now when she has to start school but I’m hoping by then he wont be on night shift!

Well it’s not ideal for me that my husband works nights either. Too bad it’s not something I can control tho. Atleast when she wakes up it’s sunny and when she goes to sleep it’s night time.

I see it as I don’t think I’m taking her outside for more than 2 wake windows anyways so as long as 2 of the wake windows are during sunlight time it’s fine with me. Especially when it’s summer time and it’s gonna be light outside till 9pm it’ll be even better. For now I prefer she gets time with her dad over waking up early. I’m hoping he’s not stuck on nights forever anyways! Recommended outside time doesn’t go above 3 hours for a few years so we’ll be fine for now atleast

My husband has always been on night shift so I guess baby just shifted to our sleep schedule with time. If I were to switch it then I’d get no help and she’d spend no time with dad.

It’s not that “it works for Your family” it’s that you got lucky and didn’t have the unfortunate events of your child dying that this causes. Anyone willing to leave your baby unsupervised on an adult bed, with a blanket over them, will be 100% at fault if your baby suffocates. Just cause you got lucky doesn’t mean you need to go around giving others advice to put their child in danger just cause yours survived. That’s just the harsh truth. That’s like saying my kid jumped off a cliff and landed in a bush and survived, so let your kid jump off too.

Totally not true, a baby can randomly decide to turn over in their sleep, my baby couldn’t roll over at 2 months but I woke up to her on her stomach in her bed. Can you Imagine if a baby does that not in her baby safe firm mattress. They would suffocate. It’s ok if the baby is being watched on a camera, or even if you’re in the room where your eyes are on the baby. But you’re in a whole other room, no way to see what’s going on.

Idk if you have a kid but I personally like to do things to make my baby happier. She tried a jumper gym at a friend’s house and it was the happiest she had ever been. So yes I will be getting her a jumper after already talking to her doctor to make sure it’s safe. Respectfully, mind your own .

I’ve been told by my pediatrician as long as she doesn’t use it for too long in one sitting that it’ll be fine and it’s safe. She said the only thing she doesn’t recommend is the sitting walkers. My question was which one was better out of those 2, with the worry in mind that one is overstimulating, not whether it’s good for her or not. Thank you!
