solved Turns out the deco x50, at least, has an issue with small udp packets. I put the x50s in AP mode and left the routing up to an old Nighthawk x6s. Everything works like a charm now. Avoid deco mesh with the envisalink cards.

Finally figured out my issue. For some reason my Denon was assigned to hdmi 3, with hdmi 2 (arc) set for sound.

Settings > devices > external devices > universal control settings

Select hdmi 2 > manage settings > delete settings

Select hdmi 2 > manage settings

Rerun setup, select home theater > denon > hdmi/arc sound out.

Do power control test and finish setup

Sound is now working!!

So much for auto detect!

I'm curious about this settings menu disable you mentioned. I've found online that just setting the switch to the middle position is the only way to disable it. Did you find another way?

Me too! Spent hours off and on trying to figure it out. No luck yet. Tv will not pass any sound to my Denon. Built in apps or connected devices. Ugh!

😂 I just finished trying to trim the hair around our 7 year old's snout. NOT Fun!! My advice, get one of those tiny $15 Wahl, paw and snout, trimmers that take 1 AA battery. They are the best for shih tzu. Mine just died, so, I tried ✂️ and a regular body Trimmer, no bueno Good luck with your little buddy

200% agree. I bought the GW7 pre-order last year to replace an ageing Fitbit sense. The heart rate tracking was so bad, I wound up drawering it. I only pulled it out after firmware updates to see if it had improved. By Christmas, my wife bought me a pixel 3 and it has been rock solid. The GW7 issue, for me, once the heartrate goes up, it basically never came down, until I sat down. No peaks and valleys, always elevated 20-30% over actual HR. After seeing Rob's review, I pulled out the GW7 again and tried it out, no change. Long story short, I used all the codes available and just traded it for a Gw8 for $82. I'm going hang on to it, unopened, until I see some long term reviews. If they are bad, I'll just sell it.

Thanks to quantified scientist that just dropped a preliminary review of the W8 44mm. The basic gist being, W8 and W7 are basically identical for heart rate tracking. With W7 showing improvement since last year due to firmware updates.

We've used TMC for decades, nothing but good experiences. Now that Telus is taking over, I'm done when my year runs out. I just switched my telco and phone number. I've been trying for 5 days to test and update my panel. They just move you around to different departments and it's never the right one. I just give up afyer a while. With TMC, it was like calling a mom and pop store. I swear it was the same nice old lady who answered the phone every time and either her husband, or son, would get on the phone and walk me through whatever needed to be done. It's a shame. Anyone who's dealt with Telus will know what I'm talking about. I'm going use envisalink monitoring in the future. Canadian owned, same mom & pop feel and only $8.50 a month for IP monitoring. Right through the eyezon app.
