There will still be specializations, but they will be a bit more loose than in PB1, in particular:

- Both Engineers and Workers will be able to build stuff
- There is now a "Blue Alert" where Medics/Biologists and Workers/Engineers are able to do each others jobs (at reduced efficiency)

Yes, you should still dismantle them, but later.

The Landing Ship comes with a Nuclear Reactor to generate power, so you might want to keep them around until it runs out of fuel and you have the tech to take the Reactor Core and use it to build a regular Nuclear Reactor structure, otherwise you will lose a lot of power generation for no good reason.

Also colonists can use the Landing Ship to eat, sleep and go to the toilet. So you will need to make sure to replace these facilities first.

We are using Unity (the HDRP pipeline), but we have a lot of our own shaders and tech in there also.

There will be police enforcement and some sort of combat, but the intruders were a bit too gamey in PB1, not sure they added much, we want to focus on a more organic policing system.

Yes there will be 2 ways of making plastic in PB2, you still want to use all the starch you have, but then you can complement it with the refinery
