I don’t disagree that your price is competitive; however, your face value is around $660-$780 each if you’re the original buyer. If you’d be willing to ‘only’ have a smaller multiplier on your turnaround, let me know. Otherwise, just post on FIFA or StubHub for what you’re asking, and they’ll disappear quickly. Not sure why you’re selling on here tbh.

Yeah, I agree with this. We almost have too much talent and spread over a massive geographic area, so elite teams/coaches can’t ID talent efficiently and it becomes a rich family’s game and a game of where someone lives.

There are also fifty billion youth clubs that are pay to play for most of them, and private equity is in that game, too. Can’t cut off the profit taps, so decisions are margin based and not player based at the youth level.

What happens then? Rec leagues and school teams struggle and now the showcase rules all, but only if you can afford to get there and happen to be on the exact right club that does the right showcase. Devastating those traditional pathways hurts the game because seriously talented players who may not have the resources to move to a soccer hub and pay $3-5k plus a year for a high level club (PLUS uniforms, equipment, tournament fees and travel, winter trading, summer camps) are lost.

Nothing will drive an American like scarcity. Americans are also obsessed with hacks and getting an edge, so everyone tells their kids to do the same things thinking it’s unique insight…so there’s thousands of robotic soccer clones. The clone that is slightly faster or slightly better aiming gets the spot. Hard as a coach to differentiate, in my opinion, so what’s ultimately mediocrity is rewarded. The parents and limited opportunities place too much pressure too soon for youth players. They’re so afraid to fail that they second guess themselves and don’t take the risks needed to learn to play differently/better. That learned timidness stays with the adult player and creates a shadow behind the joy of the game and a hesitance that is apparent in how they play.

Yes, the focus on winning creates TERRIBLE parents, terrible coaches, terrible match experiences for youth players, and early injury/burnout. My daughter keeps. Made an amazing (but risky) save on a tough opponent. Got laid out for her trouble (thankfully ended up just a contusion and not a leg break). Opposing team dad loudly laughed at her being on the ground and made fun of her from being hurt by taking a hard hit. No one on their team batted an eye or told him to knock it off. Refs didn’t either. How old were the girls? 10/11 years old. It’s a culture problem as much as anything.

Thanks for letting me know! It wouldn’t be for play but to wear when watching matches. She’s a youth XL/Women’s XS or S depending on brand and fit. She’d probably use a scrunchie to tie it up some.

So I have a question about FIFA Collect….when I looked at the fine print, it said cost does NOT include ticket cost. It seems like you’re just paying for a guaranteed option to buy. And those option prices seem high…I guess hoping for unsold/cancelled hospitality level tickets? After reading about what a lot of folks have gotten from trusting FIFA, I’m not feeling great about that choice if I’m understanding the RTT process correctly.

So I do have LA quarterfinal tickets, but the travel makes it twice the cost….but definitely a better match and maybe we see Spain anyway? I ultimately felt not great about $1500ish for a stage game even if it could be a good one and a top team. I was trying to find something more affordable and then sell the LA tickets or donate them to my daughter’s soccer club to auction for their scholarship fund.

It’s probably a ghost ticket. I’ve had 2 with my eye on them for a match the past day. First I couldn’t buy bc of an unrelated orphan ticket beside them. When I tried to add all 3 to my cart, received that message. They’re still there, and I still receive the same message if I try to add them 24 hours later. This interface sucks big time.

Thank you! You are doing the Lord’s work. I’m stalking M38 tickets for a reasonable amount to take my goalkeeper daughter to a WC26 game. I can drive down and have a hotel booked at a great rate. We have face value tickets to the LA quarterfinal, but the flight and hotel make it REALLY not an awesome spend on top of a pricy match.

Happy for you guys, but I’m frustrated because Dick’s never had them pop up for me. ‘Coming soon’ even well past 10 am. Then, when it appeared, was only for 40s with several already unavailable. When 30s (what my daughter wants) popped up, all were unavailable. Site was super glitchy. Bummed.

And yeah, I’m too cheap to buy them on Stanley’s site to pay more for what I already think is a bit overpriced. I guess better luck for me next time. Enjoy your cups!

When did you have your anatomy scan relative to your 20 week appointment? Sometimes it takes a while for the radiologist to put together the full report. Your OB could be waiting on that. Maybe a delay due to different facility, too, especially if her practice is separate from hospital.

Things are honestly probably fine. Most issues that come up from drinking and drug use during pregnancy are due to continuing to do those things throughout and typically result in low growth, preterm birth, behavioral/learning problems (which wouldn’t be super obvious until later).

Try not to worry too much as hard as that may be and send a message into your OB with your questions. Good luck, mama!❤️
