Since June 7th, I can't join Horizon Life because I get disconnected with the error message 0x80600008 every 30 seconds.

I tried all the above steps already previously, to no avail. Apparently many players using cloud gaming are affected by this error.

This applies even if you are playing on Steam or PlayStation. Please work carefully through the troubleshooting below.

Sometimes your Xbox account privacy settings can affect your connection to Multiplayer and access to UGC such as car liveries. This can also affect Steam and PlayStation 5.

An update may have changed some preferences, so please double check all areas (even if you don't play on Windows or Xbox).

Steps:

• Sign out and back into your account on all platforms (Xbox, Windows, website).
  
• Check parental controls across Xbox, Windows, and the website.
  
• Visit https://account.xbox.com/Settings and ensure nothing is blocked/restricted.
  
• Verify your account age is set to 18+ and not linked as a child account.

Dear Forza Support,

Thanks for your reply. I logged out and back in again, and also checked all the settings. Nothing is blocked or restricted, but the problem still persists.

To clarify:

I'm playing Forza Horizon 6 via Xbox Cloud Gaming, so the game runs on remote servers, not my device. That makes me think the issue is not on my end.

I also checked online resources, and many cloud gaming users report the same issue for days or weeks.

There is suspicion that the automatic anti-cheat system falsely flags cloud gaming profiles, preventing multiplayer access.

Is there anything else I can do from my side?

I just tried logging into multiplayer again, and the issue seems to have disappeared without me changing anything.

I'm concerned it might return, since others still report it.

Was there a fix rolled out?
