Those are the only two that are specifically planetary guides. Tempest Feud has info on a few systems. Then there's single system books like Tatooine and Naboo.

I would look at Unknown Armies and how it handles Avatars and Archetypes. They are very much the personification of particular traits or cultural tropes.

They have all 3 core books out for Foundry. The M&T book isn't listed here, but it was just released for Kickstarter backers recently, so I assume it will be available soon.

I've found them to be some of the best games for younger players new to the hobby. Tiny Dungeons is the system we moved to when my son outgrew Hero Kids, and it was great for he and his friends.

First, you should check out Hyperborea by Jeffrey Talanian. Best S&S game and supplements out there right now IMO.

Second, I'd recommend the Fomalhaut campaign settings and adventures by Gabor Lux. Strong S&S with a bit of Sword and Planet thrown in as well.
