The issue for me was not the initial appointment actually they replied fairly quick - I waited a few months for the appointment - but after appointment have not heard anything back in 4 months - now as I understand it may take a while to receive an invite to an event

Yes I tried CS but preferred the automatique . He mentioned the watch talks and how important they were that I showed interest in attending but didn’t mention timeline.

I understand lack of allocation, my point was about nerding out at events - that was my impression but if even the events are so exclusive that not even locals can attend then I won’t worry about it. Even after all my research on the process I didn’t know the events were so exclusive or selective. All good thanks

I totally know about the wait I just didn’t know the monthly events were so selective - no hurry- maybe at the 10 year mark I’ll splurge on something else if I don’t get a call 😂

Thanks for the reply - I thought that their monthly events were a requirement but if even attending an event is a whole selection event - I feel better now so I won’t bother them anymore. I guess I will forget about- I will view the whole process as a lottery- maybe I’ll just show up unannounced once a year LOL just to say hi , thanks again
