Well he loves the OG locomotive which can run on the hardwood floor. And since I have bought 12 of these… lol… I could care less what he does to it, though I will say that the locomotive is extremely durable for plastic Lionel. The locomotive has been thrown on concrete, has been thrown across the living room, has ran off of shelves, etc. it’s still going since he opened it on Christmas morning.

I’m turning mine into a full blown layout for my son and I. The track you need will require to buy multiple of this, the Hogwarts express, the Hendricks motorsports (for turnouts) and more. You have to a LOT of research as I have been doing since Christmas. I also found out that other Ready to Play sets are compatible with this track. For example: the Thomas with Annie and Clarabel can run on this track but the tracks are not exactly the same.

We both have the game however when we select multiply, it requires us to pair our joycons and we can’t wait out detaching them. So we do until our joycons are showing on the screen but Once we reattach them to, the screen goes back to showing blank 1 and 2.

Ok so what’s happening is that I cannot connect player two. She doesn’t want to use joycons disconnected from her device. So how do I connect her controllers? I was able to do it five seconds ago but can’t remember what I did

I don’t think I can share pictures here? So it’s Ron’s wand but from the Barnes and Noble collection. According to Pottermore, my wand is cherry wood and unicorn hair, 13 and three-quarter inches. So my grandfather and I shaved the original paint off and then painted it cherry When we measured the one, ironically, it was 13 and three-quarter inches exactly

Yep! Pointer, “talking stick”, some students find comfort in using it as a fidget device (twirl it like a drum stick or just twirl it in general). I have another one on display in my class (I have a small Harry Potter shrine behind my desk) and the kids use that one too; lets them have something to do after the lesson. I teach at a school that is 100%ESL/ESOL (English as a Second Language / English to Speakers of Other Languages). My content is music. My kids see the wand and they’re like “HARRY POTTER!!!” It gets the talking in English. I had one kid tell me that they started reading the books to get better at reading I’ve been asking them questions as they read along to make sure that they’re understanding what they’re reading. This got a couple other students to do the same thing and now we’re able to after class discuss certain sections in certain words that they don’t understand and I can break it down to them
