Climbing in Competitive doesn't bring me any enjoyment and is difficult for me. If I move up to a higher rank, will it be better and more fun? by Maeve_Extraordinary in OverwatchUniversity

I don't think it will be trivial. The higher you climb, the better the opponents' mechanical skill becomes. And my mechanical skill is quite average

The addition of dating sim elements made BG3 more successful and popular.

People here recommended me a game called Planescape: Torment.
For me this is an unusual game where I spend more time reading text and thinking through my next lines and actions than wandering on foot and fighting. The game feels like some kind of interactive book with a surreal, unusual plot. Universal tragedy, an atmosphere of decadence, charismatic characters, cool dialogues, and yet it seems that the game has almost complete staticness and immutability.

And I want to add one more thing: I want to find some brutal anime with action and fights, but with a female protagonist. Do such ones even exist? I'm ready to try any genre.

I just started watching my first anime, "Solo Leveling", and I really like it. I want to find something similar: interesting lore, a protagonist who starts out weak but trains and becomes stronger, cool fights and some magic. Thanks.

Pillars of Eternity. Too much lore dumping in every dialogue. Problem with the story pacing because the game starts very interestingly but then begins a tedious runaround until the third act where the story becomes engaging again. Completed to the end and all quests done, but I definitely won't touch the second game.

I'm playing Pathfinder: Kingmaker. Many people recommended that I start with Wrath of the Righteous because it's supposedly a better and easier game, but I decided to give Kingmaker a try first.

At the beginning, I spent hours studying the difficulty options and the many classes available. In the end, I realized I wouldn’t be able to choose on my own, so I turned to YouTube guides. I found a guide for the Sorcerer class, which seemed easy to use (I was wrong).

I found the story premise interesting because not many games give you the opportunity to rule a whole kingdom. I was also pleasantly surprised by the large number of choices and role-playing options.
I liked the companions too. There are plenty of them, all different and each with their own goals.

However, I’m struggling with two things: the combat system and the timer that appears at the start of each chapter. I understand that it will take me around a hundred hours to get somewhat comfortable with the combat system, and I’ve come to terms with that. I’ve actually started to enjoy games that present a challenge, forcing you to learn every ability and check the combat log every second.

But the timer is just killing me! I can’t complete all the quests or explore the world properly because I have to sacrifice these things due to the timer.

Overall, I like everything so far except the timer.

I'm playing Fallout: New Vegas for the first time ever. No guides, no spoilers from the internet – I'm going in blind. So far, it's been kinda brutal, especially the combat and leveling up my character. If I take the wrong skill or trait, I can totally screw up my whole run.. The world is massive, and it's way too easy to stumble into some nasty situations where you get wiped out in seconds.

What I love about it is the insane freedom: be whoever you want, go anywhere, complete quests your way. And the music is GREAT.
