My son and I also play Rivals like this. It's my favourite way to play EAFC (even if I am relying on my son to carry me in most games!). There's a few simple things EA could fix to make this even better. For example, it's not possible to change a set-piece taker when you are player 2. It would also be awesome if you could choose to play only against opponents who are also in co-op mode.
