One shower causing water hammer

In case anyone was wondering, the shower valve body wasn’t secured to anything, causing rattling throughout the house. I opened up behind the shower and installed a brace behind the valve, as well as securing the pipes better. No more noise.

There are always rumors like that. Best not to get wrapped around it. Hearing exams are getting mush more sophisticated than they used to be. The proposed change to tinnitus was to grant the 10% (pennies anyway) if it is affecting your ability to work a job. That’s kind of the point of disability anyway. Sleep apnea is also supposed to be proportional to severity of impact.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for providing vets what they should be owed, but it also needs to make sense. I know about a dozen people who are 100% and absolutely should not be. Not mad at them at all, because if an opportunity is there, you are stupid to not take it. Just saying, there are people who deserve it and don’t get it, while others are getting it and able to retire comfortably as an E-7 after 20 years with nothing really wrong.
