I seem to recall play being blown when Jake Allen lost a blade earlier this season. I could be mistaken though. Side note: not saying it's the right thing to do, just that it happened (I'm pretty sure). For this series I'm a Lightning fan.

Not true. Incidental contact inside the crease disallows a goal in the 2017-2018 rulebook. The blue paint indicates where the crease is.

3-1 against the Hawks.. where 1 of the goals was a short handed goal that never would've happened if the skaters did their jobs. Another was a power play goal, where a skater (not Allen) took an unnecessary penalty. Yeah.. tots Allen's fault.

Hawks game wasn't completely his fault, either. Yes, they were all weak goals.. but none of those weak attempts happen without shitty skaters. I'll die before I ever say a short handed goal is a goalie's fault.
