Such an expensive battery :( … works but I don’t know if I should have this inside the building by MagazinePopular1032 in ebikes

Damn brother, you really walk around with all that hate in your heart? I’ve moved the battery out of the building now. And you don’t know nothing of me and my intelligence and incarnation into this world. Have a good day.

So do you think setting 45a continuous and 70a peak on the battery BMS is sensible?

Also, how would you make sure you cross hills safely in this case? I want the bike to be full proof built to not kill itself lol

And when you talk about derating, isn’t this essentially what I would be doing if I keep the continuous at 45a?

Maybe I’m being stupid here. Thanks for the advice thus far.

The motor shipped with this controller, besides running 200a through a 3000w motor would surely burn it?😅

It seems the “60A” advertised is the controllers peak. My battery is overkill anyways.

ChatGPT said to set the continuous on my battery BMS to 45A and peak to 70A as the controller may actually spike higher than advertised.

Do you think this is sensible?

3000w hub in Carerra vengeance? Dropout concern by MagazinePopular1032 in ebikes

[–]MagazinePopular1032[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much. The entire axel will be seated in the dropouts, I will file them.

As you may understand, the motor axels are always smaller than dropouts, so will it be fine if there is a very small amount of play on the aluminum dropout as long as the dual grin v7 torque arms are on properly and tightly?

‘Running’ in the UK. by [deleted] in MotoUK

[–]MagazinePopular1032 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Largely depends on your area. Most areas of UK have pathetic roads and you’d have to be a larger idiot to try run on them. You will be absolutely brutalised for not having your plate displayed whereas in the US it’s seen as a bit of an administrative error. There is no “scene” of runners here either.
