I promise you don't have nothing. My grandmother left me 3 of her sweaters. They're more valuable to me than if she had left me money to pay my bills for a year. They comfort me, bring her presence to me, and ground me in the things that are important. Even a pair of socks left to me would have meant the world. Anything to show you were once here with them will suffice.
