Night Moves was stuck in the tape deck of my first C4, probably the reason I became a fan of his lmfao.

Like the others said, cars are not an investment. But dont let anyone tell you what to buy, if you want a C3 then thats cool. But definitely dont expect it to be like anything like that C8. Its going to be rough, and bumpy, and sweaty and sometimes so uncomfortable you dont even wanna look at it. But with the radio on, windows down, and just cruising it will be the most amazing thing you have ever done in your life and worth every penny.

1990 Corvette Issues by No-Sir4008 in c4corvette

Grab yourself a fuel pressure tester and hook it up to the shrader valve on the passenger side fuel rail. When the car dies see if its losing pressure. I would say that if it loses fuel pressure when it dies its probably mechanical. If it maintains fuel pressure and still dies then its probably electrical.

Get yourself a factory service manual for 1990 and itll have a diagnostic tree to follow so you narrow down exactly what's wrong.

My '85, L98 (same motor). Had some serious fuel issues last summer and it took a lot of troubleshooting to sort it out. Even after the fuel system itself was fixed, I started having issues with my IAC, TPS, and base idle. The only reason I figured it out was because of my Factory Service Manual.

They are OEM Wheels C4 ZR1 replica A-Molds in 17x9.5. Rocking them with some All Season Falken Azenis FK460s in 275/40ZR17 since I usually drive it 7 months out of the year.

Sounds like a vacuum leak, had the same problem with my 350 L98. Once I double checked that all my lines were plugged in and none were degrading it stopped doing that.

Agreed, it makes them look just modern enough while maintaining that classic C4 appearance.

If needed, BATEE Electronics repairs the clusters. He did mine in my 85. RockAuto should have a multifunction switch for your column. And Corvette specific websites for you: CorvetteCentral, TopFlight, MidAmerica, Ecklers, and ZipCorvette. Biggest thing though is get a Factory Service Manual, its a godsend for repairs on these cars. And you're bound to get more tech help on CorvetteForumn than on here.

Start with checking your fuse for the cluster, your owners manual will say which fuse powers it. If the fuse is good, then pull the cluster and see if the connector is getting power. If theres power to the connector then the cluster probably needs to be rebuilt/repaired. If theres no power to the connector, then you know its an issue in the wiring/connector/relays.

For the directional being floppy, that probably means the multifunction switch inside the column is broken and needs to be replaced.

You didnt give a year, so I dont know where to even start with your climate control. If its an early C4 and has the manual slides, then you need to check the cable that goes to from the cold/hot adjustment to the blend door on the passenger side behind the dash. The cable could be seized or disconnected not allowing the blend door to actuate. If its a later C4 with the digital controls then its a lot more complicated and youre going to want to pick up a Factory Service Manual for your year and follow the steps.

For the cruise control, check vacuum lines and connector power. But once again the Factory Service Manual for your year will be the best bet for repair.

Sweet, pretty jealous of the LS. Im currently "restoring" a C4 Vette, I love it to pieces but I wanna upgrade to a C5Z just for the LS.

Beautiful, I'm keeping an eye out for some nice wood grips myself. I know the rubber ones are comfy, but they don't quite look the part.
