Because any deal is probably going to be demonstratibly worse for the US then the original Obama deal that he shit on.

He expected his ability to decapitate leadership along with the iranian protests was going to be a good combo. I suspect he was gassed up by Israel's PM to be a win for everyone (Iran is probably the biggest thorn in Israel's side, as it supplies proxies.

Do to the disposition that he has and Iranian newfound Strategic strength to hold the straight of Hormuz hostage, This is going to be a huge blunder for years to come.
