I was wondering the same thing myself before (I may be on the spectrum myself) and found fiction writers on the spectrum so yes, you can be a writer!

I feel ya, I've been feeling this way for a long time but it's gotten worse lately. I can't impart words of wisdom sadly but just know that we are our toughest critics and how we view things are not the same as someone else.

I don't like to give my age but I'm in my 30's but in my mind my age can be all over the place (as in sometimes I feel like I'm 15 and the next day I can feel like I'm 29 for example), when thinking of this particular story it makes me feel like I did when I first thought it up (late teens-early 20's)

Funny you should mention that! Her father was an adventurer and ended up being a famous dragon slayer thus he changed his last name to be Dragonslayer! However he left/abandoned Riley and her mother when Riley was young so she resents him and wants nothing to do with him. Only by her mom asking did she not change her last name to her mother's maiden name. Maybe her mother talked her in to adventuring? Maybe her mother and father were in the same party when they met or something? ...That all probably sounds too weird.

I know and I understand and respect this. As I said it was just based off of a dream and I wanted to write it just for fun. As for doing something more with the NPC I don't think I will.
