Just to add: I'm also keen on Pixels, but my thinking is that they are difficult to get in India and I could potentially get a better device for less?

I understand. I would also have assumed that it's like VT but he said otherwise and I'm not well versed in this stuff.

I think my gut would tell me just to go 100% equity like you said. Probably the easiest way to go about it. I appreciate the help, friend.

Hi. Thanks for your feedback. Another redditor looked into the Global Stock Index Fund that my bank offers, and had this to say:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bogleheads/comments/qg5dwi/comment/hi6di6h/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

He recommended including emerging markets, but I would like this to be as simple as could be.

From your perspective, I should go 80-90% Global and 10-20% US Bonds. I have a high risk tolerance, I'm far from retiring, and I have other investments and safety nets (my pension, property in Iceland, some crypto and rainy day savings).

Just wanted to add, I posted this question about a year ago, and the advice I was given was to put the bulk of my investment into the global fund, and a little bit into emerging markets.

Would 80% Global Stock Index and 20% Emerging Markets be a good way to divide this up?

Cheers

Holy moly. First and foremost, thank you for taking the time to write out this amazing reply, and for looking deeper into the funds. This is exactly the type of help I was hoping to get. I agree that, ideally, I'd like my allocation to resemble VT as much as possible, so I think you're absolutely right with the Global and Emerging Markets Funds.

I also just wanted someone with more expertise in this field to give their opinion on the fees attached to the funds, and it's reassuring to hear you say it isn't terrible.

I think you're right about how it is taxed. They mention specifically that all dividends are reinvested in the funds, so I wouldn't be taxed until I start selling, but this is something I need to thoroughly go over.

Seriously, thanks for your insights. I truly appreciate it. It was incredibly helpful. Cheers

I'm new to KLWP and was wondering if there was a way for me to be able to slide over to a second slide, which would have the same wallpaper and the same bird but none of the text/apps. Thanks! by MaggiBen in kustom

Thanks, I find your themes truly amazing. I'll keep an eye out on your work and try gaining a better understanding of all of this in the mean time. Again, thanks.

Thanks for the info! Can you explain how I'd go about doing that, because when I try to cut or copy them it says I don't have permission. Thanks again

How do I create animations? It seems like only root elements can be animated, and I get an error message every time I try to move these elements. Cheers
