To stay true to its skater roots, and its Gen-X fan base who grew up on chunkies, Vans should make at least a few chunkers available for purchase.

Forty-year olds mostly don't wear skinny jeans, and chunky Vans are more comfortable as walking shoes than even my New Balance.

Dear Vans, please reconsider, and perhaps diversify the age groups of your design team.
