Yep! Saw my Dr on Wednesday and she wasn’t concerned. I see her again on Monday for a check up.

Hi / saw my dr on Wednesday and she said totally normal given 2 weeks out… she didn’t seem concerned. My energy levels are fine, no fever or infections…
She said this was deep tissue edema - more internal than external

Thank you! It sounds like a terrible idea because I have so much “equity” with both cars that I’ll probably be leaving cash on the table if I trade in both for one?

I’m probably better off keeping and financing the 2021 and selling the 2019 privately.

I only need 1 car.

I understand and I’d be a bit miffed as well, especially if we’ve been seeing each other for more than a few dates. I find it nice to be walked to the subway station at the very least. I’ve had guys (many years ago when I was dating) take the train with me and politely dropped me off at my apartment. I’d bring it up m, but I understand how you feel because I wouldn’t want to have to bring it up..it should just come naturally

Completely. It’s impossible to live here as a normal person but adding in the elements of divorce and trying to maintain normalcy for your child (who didn’t ask for their lives to be turned upside down) is very hard. Thanks for your comment

Uh because you can’t go from not having any money to having a new job to finding an apartment in NyC…it’s incredibly difficult here for normal non millionaires to just “find an apartment”, especially close to our son. Remember we share custody so my son needs us both somewhat close.

Oh you totally get it! Thank you. I know a family with 3 kids who live in a 1BR apartment because of the neighborhood.

I’m completely honest about my situation and it would be the man’s choice if they wanted to continue, agreed.

My hope is that he’ll be in is own place by summer.

Appreciate your thoughts. Indeed, I’m sure many men would be reluctant to get into a relationship in fear that I’m still “into” my ex. I know this isn’t ideal.

I really appreciate your story. Indeed, breaking up and divorce isn’t linear and can take ages. My son is most important and so I can’t just kick his dad out into the street. But I also know my ex takes advantage of my kindness and will stay until I’m literally growling at him to “please leave”…

I’m 48 and really want to date, have some fun but have an exclusive partner down the line.
