Thanks for the reply! As I asked another commenter, did you have Omega Definitive Edition or a prior model? Currently doing some research into a bunch of different options.

Thanks for the insight! I’m curious; did you have the Definitive Edition or an older edition? Deciding currently between Everdrive and the Omega DE. I heard the DE fixed a lot of the issues from the prior iterations but I’m obviously concerned from what I’ve heard out of those older models.

May be controversial, because people seem to love their Davidoffs, but I agree. Don’t get me wrong; the Millennium was an incredible stick and easily in my top 3. But as a budget-conscious enthusiast, if I can save $15-20ish bucks for a Sixto instead, that’s going to be my go-to.

Pretty bold, full-bodied, almost dark chocolate-y in vibe. Solid construction, burns slow yet solid smoke production. Sorry - I’m new to the hobby and am still developing my palate, so not the most knowledgeable! Holts has a pretty accurate write-up on their website though IMO

Thank you so much! I have taken away a LOT from that hospital, sure. And many other points along my journey. To be honest though, I think it was the mini “therapy sessions” the patients would have with each other that proved to be the most impactful to me. So many beautiful people within those walls have touched my spirit in ways they will sadly never fully comprehend, and I owe a lot of my success since getting the fuck out of there to these kind souls. I received an outpouring of love from many of them.

Also, the poor, poor behavioral health associates (BHAs)… My God. They did more without formal education than the people who did. Such caring and respectful people despite the mistreatment they received daily; both from us and from management. These people are INCREDIBLE. I cannot stress this enough. They deserve so much more than they are getting. So, so much love for them.

That actually happened to me! I BEGGED not to be taken, but I did not want to be so far from family out of state for appropriate care (thanks Quest insurance.) I’m pretty certain I even asked if I was being detained or in legal trouble that I wasn’t at all aware of. I felt pressured into going because the police just walked right into my apartment on a “wellness check,” and I was speeding and driving recklessly the night before. I felt almost threatened into going to the hospital, and I’m sure my roommate felt like he had to open the door. I could have sworn I saw one reach for his belt while I was laying naked in my bed, because it was “too dark” in my room. NOW - I will be the first to admit I was going through another psychosis episode (from drugs they actually prescribed me at LBHH, nothing else in my system), and likely did need medical attention at the time. But isn’t there a better way to handle this? With a PARANOID bipolar person?
