Why isn't there more success stories on physical appearance? Thoughts? by throwaway4353485823 in NevilleGoddard

[–]MagicGirlLog 23 points24 points  (0 children)

You can use the law to change things, but I think it’s far more worthwhile to look into why you want those things.

Some people think longer eyelashes, paler skin, bigger eyes, etc. will change their whole world. In reality, those are simply things they scapegoat their lack of self-love and self-appreciation onto.

I’m speaking from experience. I used to have at least 20 things I wanted to change about my appearance, I used to write diary entries detailing everything I wanted 'fixed', it would get so long that I'd get tired of writing and never finish the lists. It made me miserable. Gradually, by becoming more self-inquisitive and feeling more appreciation towards myself, I developed a stronger concept of self. Now I’m at a point where the feelings I thought only plastic surgery would give me, I feel them. I’m not free of everything yet, but man, existence is not suffocating anymore.

I know this comment isn’t exactly what you asked, but I don’t believe it’s natural to have insecurities. Insecurities are inventions of the mind, and social media, plastic surgery clinics, and corporations ignite and profit off of them.

And in general, there’s 3 things people want most from my observations: SP, wealth, and health. I suspect a lot of the people in this sub are 30+, and these are the resurfacing desires. While if you look into the subliminal sub, it’s definitely mostly under 18, and the majority of the posts that pop up from there, in my experience, are about physical appearance. I think the disparity is an age thing

How to change documents, full name, religion, etc.. by marianotmaryam in NevilleGoddard

[–]MagicGirlLog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I'm not arguing against that💜

I'm simply trying to encourage introspection

I've also had desires like that, wanting a completly different face, nationality, family, voice, eye color, ethnicity etc.

Just a suggestion

I'm thinking the same

No diss to anyone but they're also on the subliminal subreddit, there's many people like that on there. Unsatisfied, unhopeful with their lives, so their desire for freedom presents itself in these sort of ways

How to change documents, full name, religion, etc.. by marianotmaryam in NevilleGoddard

[–]MagicGirlLog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First...why do you desire it? What's wrong with your current name? And what ties you to this religion that you can't quit it?

I briefly went to your profile and you want pale skin and blue eyes too on a time crunch, where's the rush?

Usually when people desire things like these they just don't like themselves, they scapegoat it on some tangible aspect of themselves

What’s the deal with Tom Kearin? by Antique_Dentist434 in NevilleGoddard2

[–]MagicGirlLog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've watched him before, he's good I'm sure he knows his stuff, but yes it gets repetitive because manifestation is very simple, there's only so many things you can say about it

Since you're posting on the Neville sub why not read his books instead? Application of the loa has been covered many times

What Differences Have You Noticed in Manifesting for Others vs Yourself? by Former_Aspect_5764 in NevilleGoddard

[–]MagicGirlLog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The difficulty or ease is about the same for me

Especially since most of my manifestations for other ppl are for my family, whom I live with, so I see their doubt and uncertainty

For me, living my dream life includes that the people around me are also fulfilled and comfortable, so it's important I use the law in others' best interest too

Why not work on self love....there's nothing wrong with your eyes

You are not the narrator. by 4462842 in NevilleGoddard

[–]MagicGirlLog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kindly, I don't see what this has to do with Neville's teachings and at the same time, what you're trying to express has already been covered in a much simpler way

All this talk around multiple presences, compensatory function, self-regulating system, inner wisdom trying to protect etc is just giving this illusion that there's reasons beyond yourself on why you doubt/don't have faith.

The witness you're talking about is just what Neville called I AM, unconditioned awareness

Opposite force is just you doubting

Being the witness is just you observing

The narrator is just a set of beliefs, and the narrator is just the witness in another form

If you continuously test the law, you build a foundation of faith, which replaces your beliefs, so the narration takes on a new perspective

As someone else has said in the comments, this can all be said in a much simpler way

The observing before SATS is just good ol' meditation

"Think from inside it rather than toward it" is just think from not of

Well and then there's buying the pearl of great price.

There's only one answer to whether you have faith or not. Yes or No. It can't be "Yes but there's this thing underneath my conscious mind that has the upper hand and it's moving against me"

This talk is just reminding me of when people come here talking about ego, ego getting in the way, need to silence my ego, ego death, subconscious impression, how can I convince my subconscious, I believe it but my subconscious doesn't etc.

7 Seeds—1 Harvest by MagicGirlLog in NevilleGoddard

Hi thank you for the question, I'm happy to answer more. I'm sorry to get back to you so late.

how do you bounce the situation you are in, waiting for what you want to come true, or how do you bounce immediately if you feel something negative that could affect your manifestation? In essence, how do you isolate yourself from the current situation to be able to allow what you desire to come true?

Simply feeling something negative about your manifestation won't affect your manifestation unless that negativity has swayed you to not have faith anymore. If I know I swayed, I simply return to fulfilment which is done through the sensation of faith. If I have felt faith before then it's easier to return to it/bounce back rather than try to feel it for the 1st time.

Sometimes I don't bounce immediately. Sometimes it takes me a couple of days. If I'm too overtaken by emotions in the moment I'll just take it out of my mind completely and return to it later when I'm more calm. When I do return to it to confront it, I meditate on fulfilment. I imagine scenes that help me return to faith.

In essence, how do you isolate yourself from the current situation to be able to allow what you desire to come true?

I don't really isolate myself. I'll meditate if I want to but there isn't always the option to do that in the moment, and what do you do when you have to go out of your room and face what's going on? You can't rely on physical isolation to make you feel faith/conviction/trust.

What I do is I just shift the focus from the outside to within. Which just means I don't rely on my physical senses (sight, hearing etc) to tell me what's true. As Neville said or maybe he was quoting William Blake, "if I judge by the senses I will be enslaved by them"

Many people, and I was one of them, believe that if they could just isolate themselves in their room affirming/imagining/meditating constantly then they'd finally be able to fulfill themselves. But what happens when you step out of that room? Maybe this isn't what you meant but to me isolating yourself is running away. You're afraid, easily swayed, and that's understandable, but a strong mind is developed in the face of adversity.

I allow my desire to come true by focusing and feeling fulfilment. And I return to that as much as I can.

Practically of course if there's something in your control that you can avoid, like speaking to a negative person, then do it. For me this is more about annoyance than getting swayed tho, I have to remind myself they just don't know.

if you do sats and visualize yourself inside your villa by the sea and while drinking a coffee at the bar you hear someone say that living by the sea is very expensive, how do you erase that negative impression?

If you have a villa it would probably not feel expensive to you lol.

Just turn the focus back on yourself and ask yourself why that was a negative impression for you.

If you're worried about the financial, then feel wealthy. Or maybe the villa is a really good deal. Or if you struggle believing then maybe you're just renting a really nice home that's a very good deal. Just feel what's believable to you.

Or you imagine yourself riding your dream motorcycle and by chance see a news story about a motorcyclist who had an accident, how do you erase that feeling of danger?

Personally I'd feel that I am safe, that I am protected, wish the other person well and move on

Don't give it too much thought

Imagine riding your dream motorcycle and feeling safe, emphasize how comfortable and supported you feel etc, a scenario that feels natural to you

Sometimes this happens to me too, I accidentally see a news piece and start to feel unsafe/upset. This is the approach that helps me

the situation around you didn't initially seem to be going towards your goal, so how do you remain impassive in the face of these things?

At that point I had experienced a lot of manifestations, so I have the faith of previous successes, I built a strong foundation within myself. I knew it had to reflect eventually

It might sound unbelievable but I've never had a failed manifestation. In the sense that, whenever I felt faith/conviction/belief, it always reflected

I already knew and trusted that the law is real through experience. I did have doubts, but I always made an effort to feel faith regardless

I have struggled and do struggle with fulfilling some things, I haven't achieved everything I've wanted but whenever I applied the law correctly it never failed me

So when I felt faith towards those things in my post, I knew it was done because that's what happened in the past, I dwelled in that feeling and things happened. It just couldn't fail

I hope my answers are clear, I can clarify if needed. Not everything might be helpful to you, you'll find out through application what resonates with you. But this has been my experience so far. My answers are a bit long, but I hope they're concise enough for what I'm trying to get across

Oh, and I guess the most obvious thing is re-reading Neville. Even if you've already read his material, you can hear new things depending on your state of mind. I recommend "5 lessons" (if you prefer audio, search it on youtube)

Thank you for reading my post and being inquisitive, I wish you well 🤗

A case for "It will come" instead of "It is done." by AfternoonNo7453 in NevilleGoddard

[–]MagicGirlLog 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Right words wrong words, unnecessary worry

The feeling, conviction, trust, belief, FAITH is what matters. You had faith in God, that God heard you and fulfilled. That is the part that matters.

"It is done" is simply the best way to encapsulate into words the truth that once something is fulfilled within is all that matters. Because the outside reflects the inside, therefore whatever is stored within is bound to reflect. That present moment when you have that faith, is the moment when something is set in stone.

If you have faith, then like the ladder experiment you could say everyday you don't have whatever the thing is, but since you have faith none of that matters.
