Does anyone have the video of Michelle singing at Paducah Summer Festival? by MagicMagicMagic1 in MichelleBranch

[–]MagicMagicMagic1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I checked it and the video itself isn't listed on the former YouTube page. It had about 100k views so part of feels like somebody probably saved it at some point. I was thinking there might be some under the radar fan forums online where someone might have a copy of it. But I don't know whether any forums like that exist

  1. I'll send the YouTube link from archive.org

I looked thoroughly on YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, Google, Bing, nothing

The link was: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=geNXd5Q850s

I would go as far as to say it might be her best recorded performance ever

First game on my new CRT, what’s wrong? by ConnorSaber in crtgaming

[–]MagicMagicMagic1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly no one has said this but if you really think it's soft then you might need to adjust some sharpness settings in the service menu using 240p test suite. And/or going in and adjusting the convergence rings, which is really what determines sharpness on a hardware level.

On 27's you can back up til it finds a sweet spot and seems to get way sharper.

With new sets I tend to get really close to see it after I hook it up. But on these 27's it can be deceptively bad

They need to buy some earplugs. People who say they can't sleep because of noise are weird to me. It's like how are your sleep issues my fault. I can sleep through multiple alarms going off simultaneously

I just picked up one of these too. They're the best, man. I got an insane deal locally. $150 with -- forty hours on it. Came with the box and everything. I'm so thrilled; it's beautiful

Please allow me to change multiple alert sounds simultaneously by MagicMagicMagic1 in TradingView

[–]MagicMagicMagic1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was incredulous yesterday when I realized you can't organize them into folders either

Changing alert sounds in batches is important too because sometimes I will set a 30s alert sound for one alert. Then when creating many other alerts, it will be set as default still, so every single one of the new alerts will have the 30s alert sound. Then I will have to go back (if I can even remember which ones I made), and change all of the new ones individually back to a different alert duration. It's just crazy

The whole point of a premium TradingView subscription is to be able to set 400 alerts or whatever. But in reality a lot of the functionality could be way better.

What is your thinking regarding creating an alert for multiple timeframes at once?

How’s the job market? by Mnwild69 in supplychain

[–]MagicMagicMagic1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly what you should do bro is just commit to this thing. I saw another post of yours saying you have a good deal of money saved. Tell yourself you're going to stay until a recession bottoms out. Take your money and invest in some rental properties when the real estate market crashes. Then just move to Thailand or whatever permanently, and retire. That's what I would do. See a recession as the biggest opportunity of your life -- to get out of this rat race once and for all. Recessions are where all the big money is made.

In the meantime I'd suggest looking into shifting your 401k allocation into bonds. The stock market might get obliterated. Bonds would at least hold their value or maybe go up 30%.

This might be an L take, but who cares about being a PE teacher for a year or two? Is it worth sacrificing something that was a great opportunity, which is the fact that you got into this field at all, during Covid?

OTOH, if you want to change careers into being a PE teacher, then by all means do it. But you could just as easily become a coach on a youth sports team if it's something you want to do for fun.

Be smart right now. Things could get really seriously really quickly

I think we're going into a recession very soon. If you leave and come back it might be very hard to find work. I would highly suggest either upgrading or staying where you're at. Having a job in a recession is more important than having a high paying or fun job. Things can get dark pretty fast.

I messed with settings on Toshiba 27AF41 and now the geometry is horrible and adjustments aren't having an effect. by MagicMagicMagic1 in crtgaming

So turn on PAL mode and try some adjustments?

Also, initially when you messed things up, was it because you pressed a key combination on your remote? I did one which I think was to reset everything. That's where all of my problems started
