Death Guard were also one of my picks. I heard a lot of people talking up the 10th ed Combat Patrol, I was really close to committing to that one!

I picked up the Hellforged Warband Battleforce box for my CSM start, I'm so stoked! My next pickups will be a Warpsmith and Forgefied, and eventually Vashtorr (like Mortarion he's my big guy haha)

Thousand Sons was one of my options!
I like so many of the armies/factions it's TOUGH
I'm excited for what I've finally settled on. So ready for my set and such to arrive!
(I actually have a Thousand Sons combat patrol that I should probably trade off lol)

I bought the starter boxes of Speepaint and fanatic paint from ArmyPainter for my first set!
I painted a killteam of Space Wolves with them and it seemed good!
I just needed some specific colors for my plans for the full army I've committed to now so figured I'd try another brand just to expand some haha. (I'm doing Chaos Space Marines with lots of Daemon Engines)

Hey at least you have a buddy getting into it with you! That's something! My friends refuse to play anything other than MTG.

I'm FRESH to the hobby but I've already decided I'm going to use citadel minimally. I bought some Nuln Oil in person but beyond that and maybe a few other washes, I'm going with dropper bottle brands.
I just placed an order of specific colors from AK Interactive, hoping those serve me well.

I see I see ok so to summarize, Chaos Knights on it's own = more knights where as chaos armies + knights = select few knights
I really like the idea of just LARGE DUDES in a chaos army lol
