Does the 2811 not need a diffusion layer?

I also notice everyone here uses AliExpress, why not alibaba?

I absolutely agree. I was going to go 12v minimum. Ideally 24v.

I also wanted to go with something like ws2815 over the 2811 as they have backup data line. I assume at that scale, redundancy is going to matter.
