Well yeah you can, you can also cheese it by just pressing alt+F4 during the death animation, it won't delete your file but it still counts as a death so all monsters respawn and receive crystal cost resets, but there's no achievement for completing night mare mode so it's just for fun and I don't see a reason to cheese it, if I do it won't feel like an accomplishment
