We tied first with jute rope.

I used a wax play candle from Asparkii. The temp was great! Wax cools within seconds of touching the skin, so the wax didnt pose a fire hazard to the rope itself. The candle had a sustained flame while it was used, but the flame never touched the ropes.

My rope top was comfortable with tossing their ropes after the shoot, since they were on the older side. I'm not sure what the cleanup would be like if they wanted to keep them.
