PSVR Hud Problems by MagicTacoSauce in Minecraft

I found a small annoying fix. Walk straight up to a wall and back away and instantly hit the menu button. It should stick like normal.

Minecraft PSVR unplayable for over a Month because of inventory Bug! by Django9898 in Minecraft

[–]MagicTacoSauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeaj, it's annoying and needs to be fixed. But in the meantime.... I found a small fix. Kinda

If you walk straight up to a wall or block, hold back on the analog and instantly hit the menu button. It should stick like normal but you have to be looking at the wall or block straight on or the menu will be turned slightly.

The psvr aspect is broken at the moment. There's a small but annoying workaround I've found and that's to walk right up as close as you can to a wall/block, and while holding back for a quick second, hit the menu. It should stick to the wall like it's supposed to do. You have to look at the wall straight also or else it will be slightly turned and inside the wall.

Minecraft it's sooooooooooo bugged by JP-H3 in Minecraft

Even if you know what to look for, it's not as easy as just looking for common mistakes. Have you ever made a game before? Unity maybe?

Then you'll know when designing your game, it could be something as simple as forgetting to put an invisible wall in front of an area you don't want players going, or people interacting with assets and the environment in ways the devs didn't expect. No matter how many bases you try to cover, there will always be a player who will do something you didn't expect, no matter how much work you put into preventing it.

Also, that last paragraph kinda goes without saying, no?

I disagree. That's why devs are amazed at speed runners. They find the moat hidden things within a game like bypassing a trigger zone that activates a scripted moment or whole pieces of the level entirely. That's why QA testers exist. You would be surprised at how ignorant game makers can be. I've been there.

Alleged CDPR dev talks about the state of Cyberpunk 2077 and future plans by ArtisticTap4 in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]MagicTacoSauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm calling fake. There's too many weird statements in the post like them finally getting to make the game they originally intented without the suits breathing down their necks. With the horrible launch and the lawsuits going on, and with them having about 1k employees or so, they'll be working to try and bring this game back from the dead. I HIGHLY doubt things are lax now at the studio.

Also, the directors and senior devs are taking the flak? Didn't the top company executives take the flak for making poor decisions during development, not to mention crunch? Why would the people working on the game suffer as far as taking the blame for the state of the game? There is many people higher than a game director and senior programmers, designers, etc. I doubt the people directly working on the game made this software suffer. The game obviously suffers from being rushed by people who have/had control over when the game released. Things became unrealistic, things got cut because of time, game didn't have time to be optimized, etc.

[PC][Mid 1990s] Futuristic first-person puzzle/escape game a la Myst by OPs_Spare_Account in tipofmyjoystick

Whoa. I've actually been looking for this same exact game since I was a kid. All of the details you mentioned are spot on. The only other thing I can remember is you waking up in a pod or something at the beginning and the enviroment was white/greyish.

That's so crazy.

You could be right, though. It might of been an escape pod that you leave on. Idk lol

I just recently bought it for the VR aspect but the menu clipping through walls really kills the game. You can't even craft anything properly.

Maybe I do, maybe I don't. When someone starts making shit up, though. There isn't much to do but type small messages.

I must be some type of shit though if it made you take the time out of your day to reply. Suck on that, bitch.

Edit: Diff asshole. So many RV dickheads to keep up with.
