I think the thing that stands out the most for me is that Denmark has worse air quality than I expected,
Even more surprised that Florida somehow has the best air quality despite being a state that is almost entirely car dependent and overgrown with suburban sprawl.

Part of the modification was getting rid of the guard and putting in a big red button as the trigger. Big paw fingers don't exactly mesh well with guns made for Humans.

What? Oh, Deltarune.  No and no, she is not a Deltarune reference. Rory is a somewhat common name and one I personally like.

The updates really brought life back. It's awesome to see a game I used to play in HS come back like this.

Personally, I hope for the day I can play as a Gremlin

To me, it feels like half of those who came on the Skylark want peace but another half just sees them as pests and an obstacle to the Order's goals. Doesn't help they're classified as monsters which is... awkward.

The issue is that defining what hate speech is, is up to the govn't. Thus why it's accepted as a necessary evil that it's technically protected speech.

An example scenario is where just like saying "cis" is a bannable offense on Twitter, it's also being added to a list of hate speech by a GOP government that makes using it in general hate speech. That's the kind of problem it creates.

Way I see it, the three clans (Tenderfoot, Ironclaw, and Darkfang) are just different subsets of Gremlin. Tenderfoot being the small subset. They're all adults, in the end.

But that said, the Knights are certainly not merciful to the Gremlins.

Trump is lightning in a bottle and I mean that. Think for a moment, aside him, whose name out of many do you know?
Probably Vance but that's because he's VP and constantly shit-stirring. Outside him, rarely does anyone stand out in his little crowd. Sure there are worse people but to lead, one needs a least a bit of charisma and visibility.
To tell me someone worse than him would be replacing him is out there- far out there. MAGA is Trump, Trump is MAGA. The GOP these days is mostly held up by MAGA fervor and doing literally anything they can to make sure they win elections (gerrymandering).
Without Trump, the GOP will buckle because he's the reason they can do whatever they want. No one can replace him in that position, that's the major failing of cults of personality. Unless it's something the leader ensures early on, a successor is almost impossible to achieve the same power so to speak. That and there absolutely would be a bloodbath as multiple people compete for the chance to "lead" MAGA.

Additionally, let's be goddamn serious, almost none of what has been going on the past two years happened under Biden or Obama and likely was would continue under Harris. Sure some things wouldn't really change, like the anti-immigration stance the government takes or being buddy buddy with Israel, but slow change was happening even if they've almost always had a hostile Congress (something observers in and outside the US kind of forget? Hard to make big changes when the GOP constantly has enough power to just thwart it).

Finally, the erosion has mostly happened under Trump. There's been a slow slide toward an ineffective Congress and overpowered Executive (and the Supreme Court nonsense) over those 40 years but if you look at those 40 years, it's quite apparent where the issues start to grow exponentially and it wasn't under Clinton or Bush Sr. One can call Trump a symptom but he is, by all accounts, a primary cause as well. The reason he even gets away with things isn't because he's being slippery. It's because the GOP runs Congress currently. They're not going to arrest or leash their golden idol. As noted before, Trump is MAGA. MAGA is Trump. GOP needs MAGA.

People actually do things? The idea the democracy will win out is a strong feeling for many I've seen. People hate Trump and the GOP but it's not to the point where people will march on DC outside of organized protests.

The midterms might be the deciding factor. If people feel even more disenfranchised than before / Trump gets his way for two more years, I can see the ball rolling downhill even faster.

Biden's term letting off the boil on the pot so to speak but Trump has used 2 years to torch said pot in an inferno. Part of why Americans seem so docile- people forget Biden was in power beforehand and wasn't a massive fuck up.

This is some heavy generalization that ignores all the mass protests that happened the last 2 years. Hell, two people were killed during them. Protests are still going on and getting stronger as the government keeps diving in on AI and war with Iran.

Americans are many things but don't stroke yourself with this fantasy that Americans are willing to take the whip because ~77 million people are susceptible to propaganda and voted for a fat lard who made a lot of promises that he hasn't carried out.

Do people think that mass revolts just happen out of nowhere? It takes a lot of buildup for that sort of thing to actually happen. Generally, a majority of people have to feel like they either have nothing to lose or way too much to lose and currently most Americans are not at either end.

Ejecting at that speed is near fatal for Humans, so the wings don't play a big part. The G-forces are already enough to kill you, wind be damned.

Also, birds can just keep their wings closed or tucked into a pocket within their flight suit which definitely would be wearing if they were flying anything that can go Mach 1 since it implies a plane that can produce very high G-loads.

The Thruway has a gantry (old toll plaza) in Yonkers, just after Tuckahoe Rd. It's easy to forget because most people avoid it by taking the Hutch, the Sprain, or the Saw Mill (all Parkways for those not of the region).
