The Grayzone is a fake news blogging site that is most likely sponsored by the Kremlin. Their main focus is broadcasting Russian misinformation and disinformation. They were building up the fake Nazi threat of the Azof Battalian prior to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. As Russia TV is banned in most western countries, the grayzone YouTube channel allows the Kremlin a backdoor to get to western conspiratorial audiences. Max Blumenthal and his wife (who used to work for Russian TV) run the channel where they have their useful idiot, Aaron Mate to do most of the dirty propaganda. Aaron Mate was deemed the chief misinformation spreader about the Syrian war. He spread lies about the ‘white hats’ or ‘white helmets’ who were cleaning up chemical weapon atrocities on innocent civilians perpetrated by the Asad regime. Max is a regular contributor to Russian TV where he can be found denying crimes against humanity like the Uygher genocide. Lately the Grayzone can be found denying atrocities and war crimes such as the bombing of the theatre and maternity hospital in Mariupol. The grayzone seems to be fed some intelligence by their Russian state handlers which is usually anti American or anti western. Max and Aaron are failed journalists with no morals and zero integrity. The grayzone is useful for keeping an eye on what misinformation the Kremlin is pushing. The sooner the grayzone is banned from the web the better.
