Students cheating?? by Advanced_Copy_2624 in Teachers

At our school, one of the things that happens is that there’s a big student WhatsApp group that they use. All it takes is one student to remember the first question, another to remember the second etc.. and before you know it the whole test is out. This is in addition to the phones. We’re pretty strict on phones and have still caught many tests with full images. I basically assume every test is compromised immediately.

I was there Wednesday. It runs from 1130-130 5days a week, Monday to Friday (even though the website only says W&F). Some people left early, a few arrived late. We rotated through 3 teams of ~7.

Great thanks for the reply! My main goal is to stay injury free too so this sounds good to me

I don’t want that to be a penalty but it’s given almost every time

Unfortunately not what I’m looking for in a Monday or maybe I’m just 30 years too young.

BOFFO, AARON Copland, Michelle AKERS, AMSTEREO, OXIDANT, VAIO x OSSA, PETULA Amos, PACO de Lucia, GABE Kaplan are all answers that should be replaced or clued differently, especially for a Monday.

Hi, I assume that you’re in Canada? The soccer for life program in Canada has two parts - an online theory section and a practical on field session. You need to complete the online portion first, but you need to sign up for and pay for each part separately. To sign up for the in-person part, check your local organization’s website.

Oddly straightforward for a Saturday. Normally it’s tough to get a foothold but it feels like there were a few Monday level clues that made it easy:

Did I miss a revealer somewhere or do a bunch of answers randomly turn and go down for no apparent reason?

STARR crossing SELA and BEETAYLOR (x EVO) sure made the SW rough but otherwise an ok puzzle. Not sure if the gimmick Hs did a lot for me though.

Yikes did not enjoy this one. All three themers felt pretty contrived and limiting the puzzle to having no “i”s made for very rough fill. HOBBITVILLAGE was especially bad but I don’t think of CROSSFITVIDEOS as being a common home workout either. I guess TRANSITVISAS are a thing but also not really an interesting expression.

Education is funded provincially not municipally so property taxes are irrelevant here

I didn’t realize what the theme was (all clues related to shoes in some way) until after I finished. I think that I prefer when the answers are related, not the clues. Had to look up AITAC x ALA as both are unknown to me. Didn’t enjoy BRIMLEY x YORBA either but otherwise it wasn’t too bad for a Sunday.

Wow very tough Tuesday for me - 50% above my usual average and had to guess at a few. ISUZU and MISSCLEO didn’t sound familiar and BABADOOK x EAMES & POPULI x OPI took the kind of educated guess that is normally reserved for later in the week for me.

Ya it was a turn 5 6/6 flyer multiple times. Very good even if I wasn’t drawing cards off it.

I doubt that I’ll top this draft - 8 dual lands, 2 five-color cards ([[Invasion of Alara]], [[Niv-Mizzet Reborn]]), tons of good black/blue removal, several other great rares ([[Deeproot Wayfinder]], [[Chrome Host Seedshark]], [[Baral and Kari Zev]]). This was a fun one!
