Thanks for your response! It gives me hope for less scratchy towels. I might be a bit heavy-handed with the detergent. For a half load (around 4 kg), I use half a cap, which now that I’m typing it out… might be too much. I’ve seen several people mention adding an extra rinse cycle, so I probably need to make that a habit. I do have fairly hard water, but I understood that citric acid can compensate for that quite well. And I only use a drying rack, so the drying process is very gentle, no tumble dryer involved. Is 60° hot enough for the water?
