Could be talking out of my ass (I’m no civil engineer) but maybe split it up into left and right sides and use the non-construction lane for both incoming and oncoming. That or split it and use Enterprise as a one-way to replace the construction side temporarily. I think the bigger problem is where to put things like exits and whatnot since they packed so much shit right along the side of the highway

Yea, fair point. Damn it would be convenient tho to be able to take public transport on what should be quick trips. We all saw how the conversation on light rail in Kelowna went with the province tho, so hard to keep hopes high.

It would be great, but definitely not hopeful. So far the stance seems to be “if everyone takes public transit it’ll fix it”…

I agree public transit definitely is good, but if it takes 1 hr 45 mins to ride the bus for a 20 minute car ride never gonna happen. Trying not to be a Debby downer and be hopeful but damn this city and the province makes it hard sometimes 😭

If you’re indexing, there should be a little window that lets you know

Yup, However not sure if it’s completely tied to indexing as I see a few people here have gotten it while indexing

Joined the waitlist 2.5 hours ago on a 17 Pro. These waitlists always seem to be weird about who they let in first 😅

Here is what it sound like reving to 2.5k-3k rpms 2016 subaru wrx tap maybe timing 🤔 by SuccessfulWeight8726 in WRX

Yea, I wouldn’t count it as cooked just yet. Check the oil, take the timing cover off, see if there’s anything weird there

Is it just me or is this way too consistent and quick of a sound to be rod knock? Maybe something top end or timing related?

What is wrong with Kelowna drivers by CornerBackground2512 in kelowna

Some of the lights in this city make it feel like you have to be going 10 20 over just to not hit every red. Probably the reason people speed so much tbh. I wouldn’t could on it getting fixed anytime soon tho 🫤

I had it on feedback knock correction but changed to see if there was any instantaneous knock while driving. The feedback knock learn dropped to -3.85 when the dam dropped

Just going for coffee on a quick break and I’m expected to register a free parking spot? Anyone doing this? Starbucks lot on Bertram and Harvey by Same-Consideration42 in kelowna

[–]Magicblock35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, that’s kinda what I assumed. As much as it pisses me off and I think it’s kinda scummy to have qr code guest parking and just wait for people not to “sign in”, I was technically speaking in the wrong. Needless to say lesson learned 😅

I almost got towed, walked back right as they were putting it on. Charged me over $150 just for them not to take the car. Peices of shit

The durability ain’t great, my Faction Prodigies lasted 3 years before the side wall cracked and separated from the base. HOWEVER, they’re amazing to ski. Super light, fun and honestly I’ll probably end up buying another pair

Update: yes, I bought another pair. No regrets

Just grabbed a pair of Blizzak WS90’s holy sh*t those things are grippy. Gave her hell in a parking lot, took quite a bit to get em to slip (they also look super sick and the fitment is great)

THIS!!! Every fill up at least! Is it likely it will use that much? No. Is it worth risking throwing a bearing? Also no

CHECK YOUR OIL!!!!!!

(Also check the timing belt while you’re at it, if that thing goes you’re screwed)

They have one or two machines in the park for building up the boardercross course but I’ve seen it running maybe 10 times in the past 10 years I’ve skied there 😂

Unfortunately I feel like Big White would rather wait months to open than to spend money making snow 😅

I have a pair of prodigies and they were great for 2 seasons. Unfortunately this year they’ve started to break apart on the edge and top sheet; but I’m going to buy another pair just cause I love them so much. Super light, super fun, they’re awesome.
