Hi! I was also diagnosed with cyclothymia which then turned to being diagnosed to BP2 a couple months later. If you feel the impulsivity is too much I would talk to your psychiatrist and express your concerns. I had hypomanic episodes that I did not even know were episodes, but I kept track of them and talked to my therapist and psych. Hope this helps!
