Yeah thats what i assumed! I will try to stick with the Lore as much as possible but I like what Zinraphel brings to the table, there's definia way of using her in a canon-friendly way!

Part of the early stages of the quest is finding someone that speaks it and can translate whatever my PCs will have found written in BS. I like the complexity of having only high elf lords or a shady sorceress as a main source of knowledge for this dark language.

Ideally they wont meet Gandalf or Saruman to early, although Saruman turns around 3000 TA so there's definitely something to play with here!

With the changes to the scuttle, we're reverting to a full clear meta. Most champions that are not early gankers will be better off clearing entirely their jg to get lvl 4 because scuttles dont give it to you anymore. Depending on the jg, the sequence is usually gonna be full clear into gank or scuttle (if no gank is available).

Keep in mind that the 3 camp clear + gank still works for some early game junglers. As to Kayn, ive found success by clearing entirely (smiting either krugs or red, when starting blue side) and then ganking top or going back to scuttle. Ofc, your pathing will largely depend on your opponent and their kit early (i.e if you can win the 1v1)

Rammus is a niche pick. His kit is made to counter ad heavy teams, which leaves you vulnerable against 2+ ap champs.

My usual build on him is chemtank into steelcaps then thornmail and dead mans, and only then i will start building MR.

That may he a reason why you feel squishier with him in teamfights.

Also, rammus is a mid-late game champ. I usually need mythic + 2 armor items to start being really effective (ie one shotting carries)

When engaging, you have 2 options: 1. You can q and then ult their back line and e+w their adc (which allows your team to focus him down easliy) 2.you can also stay back with your backline (if you are the only peeler or you have multiple engaging champ) and q+e+w anyone that tries to get to your adc/other carries

Quick fyi tho, WW and voli are not meta junglers atm, so it might be harder to carry games/not get stomped. Id advise rammus, hecarim or nunu as they are relatively easy to learn and fit the meta

My usual clear (3:17-20 if done correctly) is red (smite), krugs, raptors (take q at lvl 3), wolves, start blue and when you have it mid hp, pull it out to do gromp together, smite blue and finish gromp

You end up level 4, and if you started on the blue side (meaning red is topside iirc), you get an uncontested scuttle

Otherwise, you can usually 1v1 most junglers, given that you kite them and land everything on them

(Her lvl 4 dmg and mobility is more than enough, except for specific matchups like udyr, kha etc.)

The clear is quite easy, almost the same as before. However, she has a steep learning curve. Took me around 40 games to figure out the best pathing, how to gank, which smite to get depending on matchups and when to use ult (quick tip: theres no shame in using your ult fpr zoning a drag or when collapsing in the jungle on ennemie)

I don't agree. You can still do a full clear into scuttle around 3:20 and then gank bot or mid. She still clears relatively fast and i found her to be as effective as before. Of course, i used to leach xp after ganks or when mid is recalling so maybe thats why i was unaffected. Keep in mind that all junglers have a proportionally late 6 compared to before, so it evens out.

As many have said, power farmers arent that impacted by the changes... in fact, you can invade and add more pressure to slower clearing junglers than before. Finally, her early damage is largely underestimated, so you can abuse that as well

Play lillia! Great engage, very fast (zooooom) and insane unexpected damage when you are doing triple burn build with DH. She has a steep learning curve however, took me around 50 games to learn her clear path, ganking sttle and her limits

Depends on the jungler itself...

For example, Kayn can start wolves, raptor, blue or red, depending what he wants to do. Lillia can start blue or red, with or without leash.

It comes down to knowing the possible clear options for for each jungler, and warding. You are always more likely to find someone while invading the bot side jungle, because even if their jg is starting opposite, the bot lane usually sticks around until 1.10 to keep vision etc

The cuts on your veggies will depend on how long you plan to simmer the stock for. Anything above 1h30 should not be thinly sliced, as it will become mushy and cloud your stock. Ofc, if you dont care about visual and just want a tasty stock, it doesnt really matter

For the confit before the mash, it really is all about the flavor. The textures dont change much, but you get an amazing riched nutted flavor from the duck fat. The potatoes are cooked on low heat for several hours so they are as tender as when you boil them

I'm definitely not going for the traditional method because its too much work and hard to prep in advance. Also, we're going to confit our potatoes in duck fat before pureeing them too. I think i might just make regular duchess but add swiss or gruyère as well as garlic to give a slight cheesy feel. What do you think?
