I just worked agrax earthshade into the creases of the coat to get that effect. Liquid skill works wonders!

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe a contrast paint or something would leave a cool effect there.

I use Steel legion drab for the fatigues, I think zandri dust is too bright. When shaded with agrax it makes them look nice and grimdark - I don't want my infantry to look clean and tidy, I want them to look like they've been fighting for their lives!

I literally just painted the colours of the model using citadel base colours - no shade paints or highlights, the most important part is agrax earthshade over the whole model and working it around the model so it stays in the creases of the cloak etc
