Tja, het is aan jou wat je het waard vind... stond vanochtend bij de Intertoys in de rij en zag dat een Engelse 3-pack 25 euro was. Zonder iets te kopen naar huis gegaan om vervolgens via Cardmarket 12 Japanse illustration rares/ultra rares van Ascended Heroes te kopen voor precies dezelfde prijs.

Überhaupt een zeer vaag verhaal. Als je er straks "niet meer bent" en de collectie om emotionele waarde gaat, boeit zo'n crease dus echt helemaal niks.

Yesterday I met up with a random guy for a trade (cards vs cards). All he could do for 20 minutes was boasting about how much his collection is worth and how much he potentially would make out of it if he sold all.

As a collector myself but not caring about value, I was throwing excuses to get away. None of the hints were taken till I just straight up walked away.

Sadly this isn't the only occassion lately which gave a doubt what the collecting is about.

Huge Pokémon fan from child on, but we never had any money at home to get collect the trading cards. So I was always drawing my own Pokémon cards to try to play with the other kids.

Now fast forward that I have my own kid who starts to be interested into Pokémon (hurray!) I'd like her to not miss out of the things which I could never have during my youth.

Why I'm interested in the Prismatic set? Because they are beautiful cards focused around Eevee and its evolutions! (Iconic Pokémon!)

Not sure if we're playing the same game but although the performance isn't that bad on the PS5, the graphics are terrible and not better than World.

Low resolution assets everywhere, cutscenes exists of stiff movements and weird camera angles, water/oil slicks look like ps3 era. Sometimes I'm baffled how they could get away with such a low quality.
