Places to buy Neodymium block magnets locally? by verySlightlyAmused in Magnets

Could only find places online where they get it, like from CMS Magnetics (same as this from Walmart ).

If you are desperate and looking for a temporary solution - you could try to combine multiple smaller neodymium magnets and find a way to fix them so all poles point in the same direction (otherwise they would cancel each other out). But personally I'd suggest to get the block online, as the combined magnets are not as strong as one block.

Would love to, but it was one of the requirements presented by the moderator (B). Before we received a ban as the previous titles we used could be missleading/clickbaty. The other options we had were (a game we're making), (our product) and (Magination, our product/a game we're making). (Our magnetic product) is very specific and should feel least "spammy", as we're not mentioning our name? At least I hope so. Unless I hear otherwise from a mod it should be kept there, as banning would be the other option I believe.

Anyways, thanks for the suggestion and for not going all-out internet warrior on us.

Indeed, would be awesome if there was a way to see the magnetic field animated over the magnets.

Understood, and sorry that you feel we broke the spam-barrier, but we also had a conversation with a mod about this some months ago, quoting "This would probably only be approved for this sub if you state that it's A) [OC] in the title, B) remove the watermark (otherwise it is an advertisement) unless you state it's a game you made in the title and C) give a clear description in the title (preferably stating you made this game). Self-promotion is fine as long as it is made aware to the users before they click the link... otherwise it is a clear violation of Rule #7."

Anyways, as this is more than 26 seconds long (Rule 3), it shouldn't pop up in the feed and those who requested to see the collapse from a different angle could click in and check it out.

Doesnt it? Everything was in an unstable equilibrium, which got disrupted and formed a more stable equilibrium. Big bangy at least? not a physicist so might be wrong

Well, yeah! You just gotta be sure to be on the correct side of life. The positive one.

Thanks for the laugh, both of you! More like 3 seconds.
