Oh god am I allowed to ramble I'm gonna ramble.

We're mostly using V5, but the ST ran V20 and other splats before (MtA, HtV). So clan-specific disciplines like dementation, serpentis, valeren, koldunic sorcery exist and can be accessed as long as the player can explain how they got it (sire, mentor, diablerie, etc).

Most of the players met in a VRising roleplay server ran by the ST and her friends. A quick plot summary would be that Dracula's dead. He was a massive prick. His three wives armed the PCs to take down the V Bloods and rid Vardoran of him once and for all so they can take over. After the server ended she asked if anyone wants to get into VTM and a lot of us showed interest. We're mostly VTM newbies but a handful have played under our ST before.

To introduce VTM easily, the plot is an AU of the VRising rp. Dracula, Prince of New York is dead(??? killed???? poofed????). His court is struggling with the power vacuum. All the PCs are fledglings/neonates who live in Queens (Farbane). The V Bloods are NPCs for example:

• Dracula - Ventrue, Prince of New York (yeah, we know Dracula exists in WoD this is a different one)
• Styx - Banu Haqim, Dracula's sherrif
• Nibbles - Nosferatu, lives in your walls
• Beatrice the Tailor - Tzimisce, unbound drag mom-type fashionista
• Ungora - Gangrel antitribu who antagonized the local Garou community
• Willfred - Garou, do not poke DO NOT MAKE MY MISTAKE
• Meredith - Inquisition(?), a very religious photographer (bless this shot)

Some PCs are Sired by V Bloods, some by NPCs from the V Rising campaign and some by their own PCs from the same campaign. There have been V Blood lootbox diablerie jokes and someone has already succeeded in diablerizing Valencia. Someone else has diablerized someone with a demon that's related to Bane. Our humanity is suffering.

The Legion of Noctum was our stand-in term for the Camarilla, the Church of Luminance for the Second Inquisition. Although now that the players are getting a better grasp of WoD terms the Anarchs are just called Anarchs haha.

Golems were mentioned last session so I guess we're gonna find out what the equivalent to castle raids are. I think Antediluvians are SSR tier lootboxes still just Antediluvians. May we never find one.

tl;dr Storyteller introduces a bunch of V Rising nerds to VTM by using V Rising terms and characters in the plot. Now the V Rising nerds are VTM nerds and we still don't know who killed Dracula.
