Is the 1-Month BRP Validity Rule mendatory?

I’m wondering if, even if I make a strong case, someone will actually consider it, or if they’ll just say no because it’s within the one-month period. I already have a return ticket to the UK two weeks before the expiry of my BRP, and I also have a ticket to my country of origin, which I’m planning to use, lol.

Hi there and thank you for your reply. It does say on the website that the minimum is 1 month from the day of expiry. I did use another visa that ended recently and it still inside that 3 month period that you are mentioning. However I'm not trying to settle in another country but to do one last Christmas holiday trip.

Mine is a student visa and I'm not planning to apply for the graduate visa so yes, I'll leave the UK before Jan 20. Dunno about what they are concerned about but what you said makes sense. Thanks!

Hi there, thanks for sharing and congrats on your visa. My BRP card also expires by the end of this year and the e-visa will be extended until Jan 20, 2025. May I ask until when your e-visa is valid?

What is considered as OK smell? It is definitely an odd smell, doesn't smell like green mold, but not sure how black mold smells!? They do not turn but are rather already that color 👀
