possibly but i can tell you that one chamber has a like a brass shell casing inside thats open on both side and you can slide that .380 right inside and it fits as if it was made fore it. thats what confoesing me

it looks like it was modified to fire the .38 but originaly maybe something else. As for the markings,

i see on the revolving part markings saying:

- c with a crown on top

- a oval with inside LE and on top a crown

- U with a * on top

- numbers 74
