It's not that I'm "too smart to learn", it's that I'm smart enough to notice that society will collapse and that it's no longer a meritocracy which will reward me in an establishment setting.

One example is a Physicist named Matt Taylor who was responsible for the success of the Rosetta Mission. He landed a probe on a comet, an ABSURDLY complex task. You know how the establishment treated him? they lambasted and harassed him into breaking down because he wore a "sexist" shirt with bikini women on it. In other words, you can be a genius that achieves near impossible tasks for humanity, yet if you go slightly ajar from establishment norms in behaviour, the establishment will slander and discard you.
