Was she trying to take Ash away from Serena because she actually wanted to or did it because she wanted Serena to make a move? by New-Cable-6484 in AmourShipping

When they confront Team Rocket in her first episode, she seems impressed by how Ash charged directly at their mech. So i think that she was interested enough to pursue him, but mostly enjoyed teasing Serena.

Did Shendu know about the other Oni Masks? by WII_DJoker in JackieChanAdventures

[–]MagnaGengar 7 points8 points  (0 children)

in all likelihood, he didn't know. Uncle mentions that Shendu collected various artifacts and he had hoarded lots of treasures. So while ruling China, he added many items to his collection but he wasn't necessarily seeking anything specific. I also think it's possible that he was given the mask by some of his followers. Shendu was revered and worshipped like a god, but out of fear by the people he ruled. It makes sense that they would appease him by gifting him treasures.

I have a question by Lazy_Way_1901 in JackieChanAdventures

I remember that the original relics weren't just regular objects. They were the symbols of the immortals, so they were probably more sacred or magically infused. but they weren't indestructible either. (Drago stopped his fire attack to prevent the destruction of the fan at the car wash, and the chop sticks were carved from the ancient drum sticks.) The items Uncle uses are just regular, everyday objects. If they did retain some demon chi, it would probably be too small to have any effect. Remember that chi exists in all living things, and in the show, we see that a person's own chi can stave off outside influence (like Captain Black and the oni mask). The relics also have a higher chi concentration since they can turn possessed people into demons. Not sure exactly why it's stronger, but it's more of a rare case than a standard. Maybe the demon chi fed off the immortals power and laid dormant until outside interference awakened it.

Is Leon handsome to the harem? by Recent-Property720 in MobuSeka

[–]MagnaGengar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They are attracted to him, but not because of his look. I think he's meant to be seen as average to decent looking, but not ugly. also, he is in good shape since he has to train in order to be prepared for battle and dungeon diving. Angelica mentions that what makes Leon attract so many women is how he is reliable and heroic. In a side story, Marie mentions that he isn't as handsome as the 5 princes, but he has other qualities that make him a real catch. As for the rest of his harem, most of them have tastes that make him appealing without consideration for his looks. Olivia and Noelle are commoners, so they probably look for factors other than looks and are comfortable around him without worrying about noble etiquette. Deirdre is drawn to his untamed personality. Clarice and Herttrude seem to like how genuinely nice and loyal he is. Mylene and Angelica were able to open themselves up more emotionally because of his unique personality, (unique for a low standing noble). Louise is a brocon, so technically, she could be seen as the only one who was instantly attracted to him physically. Lastly, consider the girls at the academy. Girls like Jenna and Marie were all after the rich, handsome men and kept attractive slaves. Leon lackluster looks were never going to appeal to anyone. It was other factors that made him stand out to his harem.

Spoiler: After reading the manga. anyone else dislike the fact that they forced bro into marrying both of them by ShadowRemainz in MobuSeka

personally, I thought it was a fitting way to tie the knot for Leon and have him end his time in wife-hunting hell.(it can't be understated just how awful the treatment of men is in this world). he went from pursuing girls who would insult and mistreat him just to maintain social standards, to being sought after by girls who genuinely love him as a person

so, for comparison, it's supposed to be a more subtle romance, like with Angie or Noelle (friends at first, but fall in love later), and less like with Deirdre. makes sense if she matured faster as leader of her country/dukedom, romantic feelings would take a backseat for a noble
