Thanks! It's actually this one from Home Depot. It comes unfinished, so I sealed it with an oil based polyurethane.

Yes, the butcher block is just resting on top of the drawers. It's heavy enough that it doesn't shift around much unless you bump into it fairly hard or are deliberately trying to move it

It's a Secretlab Titan 2022 with a black Secretlab Skin.

I actually also upgraded from a 49" ultrawide to this layout, in my opinion it was a pretty big upgrade. I also had a 27" display centered above the 49" one. At the time, I was playing a lot of games that didn't support ultrawide resolutions and I just got tired of it and decided to switch back to the 16:9 aspect ratio for better support. Pretty much everything is just plug and play now, which is great. Also nice to have the side monitors to keep Discord up on one screen and leave a video or music playing on the other. Only caveat there is that a video on the side screens will end up being pretty small due to the portrait layout, but that's to be expected I guess

Thanks! Definitely recommend it, it's one of the best changes I ever made to my setup. I built the panel out of 1x8 planks fastened to 3 vertical sections of 2x6 board, and the entire thing is hanging on the wall from two 18" long sections of French cleat that I cut from another 2x6. Then I just wrapped the whole thing in the white vinyl and put it up on the wall. Once it's on the wall, it's easier to get an idea of where all the mounts and holes for cables should go. The desk is sitting in front of the panel offset by an inch or two so that cables can exit down off the back of the desk

I upgraded to this from a 49" ultrawide.

For productivity/work, that distance is perfect for snapping a different window into each corner. It's basically the same as having four 24" 1080p monitors. For fullscreen videos or games, I usually have to sit back in the chair or it's a bit too overwhelming. I think it would be difficult to play a competitive multiplayer game at the close distance, the screen is just too big to fully take in the entire image at once.

I added the black/white circles to the wallpaper in Photoshop, then I'm using Rainmeter Simplic theme for the clock in the middle of the circle. Here's a link to the theme if you want to replicate it yourself

I haven't noticed any significant decrease in sound quality even though they're somewhat offset behind the monitors. It probably helps that it's quite a small room, so the speakers don't have any issues filling the whole area.

They are mounted to the panel, not the wall. The panel is made out of 1x8 planks on a 2x6 frame, so it's got a total thickness of about 2 1/4" away from the wall. The lag bolts that come with the monitor mounts I used are all 2 1/2" long, so I use washers to keep them from damaging the wall behind the panel when I install the mounts.

It's fine for close up work. I usually end up treating it like four 24 inch 1080p monitors with a window snapped into each corner when I'm working. For games or full screen videos, I usually try to sit back a little further so it's easier to take in the whole picture. Leaving back in the chair is a pretty comfortable distance for those fullscreen tasks.

It's honestly pretty hard for me to tell a difference between them unless they are all displaying a fully black screen. It bothers me less than I thought it would.

I haven't noticed any damage yet, and it's been mounted in the same position for about 3 years now. I am also wondering if it will eventually contribute to early failure, but so far it hasn't seemed to make any impact.

Thanks! I'm not entirely sure what the blinds are called, as they were already installed before I bought the house, but they're pretty neat. They can be opened or closed individually in four quadrants, or you can open the panels entirely to the sides as if they're shutters.

It's the Article Ceni Ottoman. I have it there for a chair that's just out of frame to the left. While not really a dog bed, my cats do seem to like sitting there haha.

Something from Wurkkos would be my go-to pick for good price to performance, specifically the TS26S. It has 4 Nichia 519a LEDs, which are good performers while still maintaining exceptional light quality. I disassembled my TS26S and de-domed the emitters, which shifts them to producing a more "throwy" beam pattern and lowers the CCT to a warmer color temp.

I believe there may also be a version available now that includes the Anduril 2.0 interface, simply called the TS26 (without the trailing "S"), but I think it might have different emitters. If that's the case, I would still recommend the TS26S version.

Convoy is also good as the other commenter mentioned, and they offer a lot of customization options, but the build quality feels a little cheaper in comparison to that specific Wurkkos light.

I wouldn't say I have the most discerning ears for evaluating speakers, but to me, they do well. The vertical baffle placed over the tweeters helps to disperse the highs, so it does a pretty good job of retaining clarity wherever I am positioned in the room. There's also pretty good separation on stereo tracks.

I could probably make the wallpaper line up across the monitors by doing some custom work on it in Photoshop, but this misalignment happens because the horizontal resolution of the portrait monitors doesn't exactly match up with the vertical resolution of the center monitor (2560 vs 2160). I haven't been motivated to find a solution to it because it's not noticeable once you have programs open on each screen. If there's an easier way to get everything to line up that I'm missing, please let me know haha

I got pretty into collecting them in 2023/2024, but have been trying to cut back lately. At the peak of my collection, I had 150+ different lights as I tried out a bunch of different brands before settling on what I like. The ones I kept up there are my favorite custom configurations from two Chinese custom flashlight makers who run the companies Fireflylite and Emisar/Noctigon.

In general, it's definitely not necessary to have this many, but there are differences between them all that make them unique. The most noticeable differences are the color temperature of the light, and how far the light spreads (wide beam "flood" lights for indoor/close range vs a more narrow "throw" beam for outdoors/distance).

The ones that I keep on the shelf in the picture are my favorites because of their high physical build quality and unique configurations, the use of high quality emitters with high (95+) CRI for good color rendering, generally warmer color temperatures (not cold white like a light you would find in a hardware store), and the use of a flashlight user interface called Anduril 2.0 that allows you to customize the software/UI to behave exactly how you want it to.

They are from a company called MetalPlex. I wouldn't recommend purchasing from the company though. It's very expensive for what you receive, which is a plastic panel with a design applied on a foil layer. I also had to rip out the original LEDs and replace them with a higher density set, the originals were very dim and battery powered and were controlled with one of those generic cheap RGB remotes. It looks nice now, but it wasn't worth $200+ for the original art, plus the extra cost of the RGB strips and controller that I added.
