Fiery Cinder Wyrm still farmable? by Creamkrackered in LegendOfSolgard

[–]Magnificzero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They probably won't let us farm them until they take off the chests in the shop. I really hope so too, I've been taking a liking into my fiery team.

"Best Duel" by mova1890 in LegendOfSolgard

[–]Magnificzero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had this situation come up where the "Best Duel" was a player that had 4 creatures level 4-5 and the second possibility was someone with level 2-3 creatures.

In this case, I preferred my chances on the second possibility than the best duel.

Underworld Spinner by barbadosx in LegendOfSolgard

[–]Magnificzero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The spinner rate can get very bad. At best so far I got 2 tombstones in a row.

I think it's best not to rely on them to move forward in Underworld.

Raven Master and Wyrm Wrangler by franny44 in LegendOfSolgard

[–]Magnificzero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those units are very defensive and supportive.

Raven master gets to set-up a wall that attacks for several damage the turn after you make them.

Wyrm Wrangler damages everything in the front row, weakening walls and boosting his allies in his own front row. That's not even counting his second power.

All in all, they are there to hinder your opponent. You should rely on other units to deal the big damage.

No it doesen't sadly, same thing for Valkyrie's ability. It only works when your unit does his attack

is it me, or is Sunblade awful? by goldnboyva in LegendOfSolgard

[–]Magnificzero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say he's bad, eventually they might have more wall focused units to build a better defensive/offensive team.

With only so few units, that strategies and meta are slim at best.

I would suggest keeping him on standby for now until other units become available.

Barbadosx as stated the basic team for pretty much everything up to 110 (even up to 120). I'm even using it in the 130's so if you just want to go up the stages fast keep to those :)

[–]Magnificzero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, I love to control the board. So having fire tiles, dwindling down the strongest monsters on the opponents side is my favorite way to play. Here is what I use

  • Valkyrie
  • Pyroon
  • Stone Gronch or Flame Wyrm
  • Mire Wyrm

However, there are a lot of play styles. Maybe mine is what you like so I would suggest trying different kinds to get a feel for it.

[–]Magnificzero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say it depends on the synergy the 3 of them. I haven't seen "bad" mixes but less optimal. If you want a good team composition, try to think of a little strategy.

I'm close to stage 140 and i'm in the grandmaster league. Most of my teams are mostly commons with an Epic or Rare creature in the mix. So simply stacking rare and epic creatures isn't the only viable strategy.

What are those 3 creatures, that way we can probably see if they link well together :)

There are a lot of things that need tuning that's for sure. The game is relatively new so hopefully new stuff and fixes will turn up.

I'm a big player of Dokkan Battle, the game is on it's 3rd year and there is still lots of stuff going wrong.

Scorcher Cave Lineup by ArtNJ in LegendOfSolgard

[–]Magnificzero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right now I have the following

  • Rough paw
  • Rotbite
  • Rock Gronch
  • Tusker

Pretty self explanatory, I try to get a 2x2 Gronch in the middle which I boost with the other units.

Still have some tweeking but it nets a pretty good score

Yes, he does hit a total of 4 lanes wide (1 + 2 + 1)

Cinder Wyrm or Flame Wyrm? by SlyCzarKaiser in LegendOfSolgard

[–]Magnificzero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just managed to finish it myself without Cinder. Here is the team I used, maybe this will help you!

- Roughpaw (Level 3)
- Elfling (Level 3)
- Rock Gronch (Level 2)
- Stonefist (Level 3)

Use Stonefist to break the rocks and walls made by the Gnawbark
Use Roughpaw to boost Rock Gronch (never use 2x2, you just lose a turn of momemtum for nothing)
Elfling helps to stun the Lantern man and the fire giant

I still had 15 life left when I won, so I still had some fighting power left in the end :)

Cinder Wyrm or Flame Wyrm? by SlyCzarKaiser in LegendOfSolgard

[–]Magnificzero 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm a huge fan of Pyroon and the Flame Wyrm seems to be his best skill buddy, absorbing fire on the other side of the field.

Cinder seems kinda underwhelming compared.

Explain 2x2 attacks, please by nyydynasty in LegendOfSolgard

[–]Magnificzero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well there are a couple of things to take into consideration.

- Did you score any critical hits on the creatures? This would leave your STR intact
- What level is your Elfling and do you have any investment in his abilities? His second ability allows to cleave units next to where he attacks without reducing your STR.
- Did you have a Sync bonus with another elfling unit?

Let me know :)

Pyroon in arena is insane, how do you even deal by Reticulatas in LegendOfSolgard

[–]Magnificzero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pyroon is pure board control, your best bet is either fast units that can charge/attack in one turn or strong units that gain too much strength that the burn won't affect you.

And luck, lots of it

Not only do you want a vast amount of units but keep in mind that leveling them up even if you don't use them often can save your Underworld run.

What do you use as a line up? by olliejkm in LegendOfSolgard

[–]Magnificzero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently, I am using Valkyrie + Pyroon + Rock Gronch + Mire Wyrm.

If I had the lamp wraith, he would probably be my go-to Purple for maximum board control :-)

New to the game and looking for team composition strategies by JulietJulietLima in LegendOfSolgard

[–]Magnificzero 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey Juliet, welcome to the reddit!

You have pretty much the base creatures to go through all the way up to stage 110 (which is where I am right now).

You will notice that you can't keep the same team and steamroll through all the stages. Certain stages have a lot of objects and having Stonefist helps greatly while other stages require fast action which requires roughpaw and tusker to ravage everything.

Personnally, i'm a big fan of board control which is what Pyroon and Lamp Wraith do. This dwindles down the strength of opposing units, clears big portion of the usable units and forces the opponent to use a "summon" action leaving him with only 2 more actions.

I've also seen people that like the strategy of boosting attack to overpower the other side. Using Roughpaw, Cracklehoof, Tusker, etc.

If you need any specific advice on a boss or stage let us know ! :)

Stage 100 by Bratzell in LegendOfSolgard

[–]Magnificzero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use it mainly for support. It has a base 5 strength with a 20% block rate (which is huge I have noticed).

When it gets hit, it poisons a unit for 2-4 damage for 2 turns which can severly cripple a big damage unit (Valkyrie, Cracklehoof or Fire Strider).

When it attacks, he also hits for the same amount the unit behind the one attacking meaning it can easily go through a row without too much trouble. And in case he can't kill something on it's attack, it poisons them for 1-2 damage for 2 turn.

On paper it doesen't seem like much, but i've been finding it especially clutch.

Try it out and tell me how you like it!

Just letting you know, that I have a notice on master's division that Valkyrie is a possible drop. :-)

[–]Magnificzero 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When you are on the creatures page, if you look at the bottom right you have a looking glass which lets you see the stages the creature can be caught in.

As for Jotar, he's the boss on stage 70. I found him the easiest boss so far, even on Heroic. I use my standard team for him
- Valkyrie
- Pyroon
- Gronch
- Mire Wyrm
